The Renegade of Mandalore (For Khorne)

[Khorne]

"No I don't. I've never been to tatooine before working for Jabba." Kenn says as he walks over to his pile of money crates and takes out another 5k in credits, he than takes a pair of DH-12s out of his little weapons stash and slides them into holsters on his hips.

 

[Archangel99]

"Ah. Right. My bad. Anyway, come on outside. I'll take you there. Maybe give you a little your of this dustball while we're at it." He says with a chuckle before turning the comlink off.

[Going to sleep. Have an exam tomorrow. Also, I'm nervous as all hell.]

 

[Khorne]

With his gear all ready Kenn walks out side and goes over to meet up with hondo. "Allright let's go hindo." He says as he walks up to hondo.

 

[Archangel99]

He nods and escorts him to the Podrace tracks, before finding a spot in the crowded bleachers and taking a seat.
"Hmm... We're a little early. Even the racers aren't out yet." Hondo murmurs.

 

[Khorne]

"Well that's good then." Kenn says as he looks down at the race.

 

[Archangel99]

"Meh, I would have preferred to be here a few minutes before the races start. That's when the vendors come around selling food." He says, chuckling.


[Gonna nap for a while. Be back in an hour or two.]

 

[Khorne]

"Yeah that's a good idea to know in the future." Kenn says with a grin.

 

[Archangel99]

"Hey, how much cash you got on you right now? You have about a hundred?" He asks.

 

[Khorne]

"I got 5k just in case." He says

 

[Archangel99]

"Oh good. There's a guy coming up who rents out viewscreens for about a hundred." Hondo says, eyeing a male Twi'lek handing out viewscreens and collecting credits.

 

[Khorne]

"Oh cool." He says before calling out to the vender. "Hey two screens over here." Kenn calls as he waves his arm.

 

[Archangel99]

The man walks over and speaks in Hutteese, asking for two hundred credits as payment.

 

[Khorne]

Kenn counts out the two hundred credits and hand it to the man.

 

[Archangel99]

He takes the credits and examines them before handing the viewscreens over and walking off elsewhere.

 

[Khorne]

"Here you go hondo." Kenn says as he hands a screen to hondo. While turning his own on.

 

[Archangel99]

The screen beeps on, showing a view of a rather empty track.
"Ooh! Here they come!" Hondo says, grinning and pointing to the pods, which are slowly being pulled out of a hangar onto the track.

 

[Khorne]

"This is going to be exciting." Kenn says as he looks down at the racers.

 

[Archangel99]

Once all the racers are in place, the announcer starts to speak in Hutteese, welcoming the racers, and then welcoming Jabba the Hutt himself, who acknowledges the racers.

 

[Khorne]

"Wait Jabba runs the pod races?" He says as he sees Jabba then turns to look at Hondo.

 

[Archangel99]

"Not... Exactly. He's more of a..." He waves his hands in the air. "A... Sponsor, I guess you could say. A sponsor of sorts." Hondo says.

 

[Khorne]

"I guess that makes sense. Which racer you rooten for?" Kenn asks

 

[Archangel99]

"Sebulba. Bugger always wins... How much are you willingto bet on him?" Hondo asks, eyeing a female Twi'lek coming down the stairs and collecting bets from everyone.

 

[Khorne]

"200 works for me." Kenn says as his eyes follow her as well. Once she is close enough. "200 on Sebulba." He says as he raises a hand with the two hundred credits in it.

 

[Archangel99]

"200 on Sebulba. Your name?" She asks, raising an eyebrow.

 

[Khorne]

"Keth Thane." He replies.

 

[Archangel99]

"200 creds on Sebulba from... Seth... Tane." She nods and then walks off, collecting other bets.

 

[Khorne]

With a shrug Kenn looks back over at the racers. "So which one is Sebulba, hondo?" He says s he looks at each reacer.

 

[Archangel99]

"Uhh... That Dug over there. See him?" Hondo says, nodding down to an orange speeder.

 

[Khorne]

"Oh. Yeah I see him." He says as they wait for race to start. "Hondo what are you going to do with all the credits you got from the job?" Kenn asks.

 

[Archangel99]

"Hmm? Oh. That's personal." He mutters, stopping the conversation before it begins.
Down below, the racers warm up their engines as the timer starts to count down the loud hum of the pod engines filling the air.
