Special Flags: Power Armor

This one almost missed me as one of the things I am curios about. I have been keeping the keeping the Aegis Light Machinegun in my storage ever since that awesome quest with Kara on the pirate base. One of the best mission that offers thrills, as well as a satisfactory challenge for those prepared along with the items rewarded and that steamy ending after a night with her.

Anyway to the point, I have kept this weapon ever since I saw the Special Flag: Power Armour in the description and have kept it ever since because of it. If there is one thing that gets me riled up (in a good and exciting way) is that I can emulate my Steele being a Tech Marine (albeit a very flirtatious and horny one) as I lay waste to my enemies in a giant suit of power armor for the Emperor.

My question is; does that mean that will we be aquiring Power Armor in a future build or is there already one? Cause I love the idea of my Tech Specialist or Mercenary riding in one. Not to mention how awesome it sounds in a future quest or difficulty escalation where a power armor will be a requirement. Anywho thats all I have for now.
Oh one final thing, should I keep the Aegis Light Machinegun? or is it just paperweight and sell it?

Hey wasn't @Savin writing power armor at one point?

I can't really answer your question, but one thing I've really wanted to do ever since I did the Stellar Tether dungeon is to take Cap.Khorgan's power armour, even if it is just a mining suit. But, I mean, it has rockets. Fucking ROCKETS. I don"t usually play a heavy Merc/TechSpec Steele, but if there was power armour I would be all over that shit.
I'm sure FenCo™ will write it eventually.
As for the machine gun, you could if you want if only just for the roleplay aspect. Meeting chicks, dudes and everything inbetween and showing off (both of) your cool-ass machinegun(s) or some shit.

I'm pretty sure the Captain is in a mini-mech, not power armor.

Theory: Steele is power armour controlled by little spess hobgoblins.

Oh man, I would love to go around as an Astartes laying waste to all of the Xenos in this game (after banging them of course), but I would probably be a part of the Emperor's Children (so that I can bang them).
I keep the machinegun, and use it with the modified zap laser gun whose name I can't remember but that you get at the same time. This way I have something to take out shields, then something to decimate the enemy with if they have electrical/energy weapon resistances.

But maybe I am using the wrong weapons. I would be open for suggestions as to what the best weapons for a Smuggler to use would be.

Power Armors if notes from Fen are correct should start showing up in game from ~lvl 9.

in b4 we all start running into magicy speece elves with magicy powers(psionics), their dark cousins, greenskins (oh wait we have them already in the form of pintsized and Thraggans)... you know what I'm just gonna not continue this post There's seriously gonna be a wall'o'text if I continue down this road.

I'm sorry. Just, the thought of power armor drove me Warhammer 40K crazy. I can't help it, it is one of the best things ever! ._.
That and Slaanesh. He/she is one of the greatest things ever too.
Oh god there I go again!

Aaah that makes alot of sense now that you mention it, what with the Quickdraw perk for your ranged weapon (Khan's Arc Caster if you still wanna know). Since I am a TechSpec first, Merc second, and Smuggler last, I was afraid I wasnt using it right since i can never seem to bring out a good damage output by comparison to the latest weapons (ie The Plasma Hawk and the Black Ultraviolet Rifle). Although if recall does the Merc have a perk that strengthens the damage output of ballistic weapons?

If you are playing a Tech Specialist then I would recommend staying with Energy Weapons, and not using something like the Aegis Machinegun. You will get a lot more out of them, than you will the Machinegun. (especially since according to the other guys power armor is still a ways off) UNLESS, you run into an enemy that has super high thermal/burning/electrical defenses, that is when I would suggest you use the Machinegun as a backup. But it sounds like you are already on Uveto, and as far as I know they are all cold creatures with a weakness to fire damage. As far as I know, because I have been avoiding the place. I don't go to the next stop until it has been relatively completed and I can play through it all at my leisure. I guess I am kinda gimping myself here, but hey, that is how I like to play.

As for how I like to play, I play a Smuggler, don't ask me why. I don't even know. Still open to weapon suggestion for the Smuggler, if anyone is interested.

I am super sorry for derailing your thread man, lol. It just sort of, happened.
Also, you don't need to worry about the bucket of ice water, unless you have fallen into one of the Cursed Springs of Jusenkyo, and get on Onyx's bad side.

@RanmaChan Clearly the Rock is the superior weapon among all ranged weapons, even being a melee weapon.

But I usually just use Khan's Arc Caster to take out an enemy's shields, use a flash grenade (pocket sand) to blind them for an aimed shot, and then shoot them with the Bolt-Action Rifle despite its shit accuracy.

I use Khan's Ark Caster to take our their shields as well, then the Aegis Machinegun to finish them off, so I guess what I am doing is essentially correct.
Lol, pocket sand.

No problem *thumbs up*! Nice to see a fellow Battle Brother (or are you a filthy Traitor Marine?!). Lol. anyway gonna stop of course before the mods pull out the banhammer. Spacebattles pulls out the banhammer like every Tuesday.

As for weapons I can definitely guess according to your weapons that you probably are a ranged Smuggler aka Hitman in my book double shots and all. I like to roleplay as Assassins in space with a melee oriented Smuggler with some ranged skillset First Shot as an opener to have an opening advantage, Flashbang, then Double Hit Sneak Combo. I'd say stick to the Khan's AC (as you already know its an excellent weapon against shields and targets alike) and Aegis Machinegun combo since it sounds like you are cleaning house with that setup.

What about the SecurityMP for its double-action bonus at the cost of damage output? does it stack with the Double Fire perk so that you can shoot four times in a single turn?

Another good one of course is the lust attack combo. Bimbo Siegwulf, Grey Goo Armor Tease Assist, Gas Grenade (Lust Damage Perk) and Advanced Slut Ray (Double Shot) or Biowhip (Double Melee). When used in conjuction you can practically one-shot almost any enemy in a lust barrage; except sadly in Uveto, so whatever Range combo you have right now that works stick to that instead.

Awesome, cant wait for when this eventually comes around. All the more reason now to keep the Aegis Light Machinegun. Any concept arts so far? I am in no hurry of course, Pretty sure that it is gonna look sweet to match with my Fenris Drone Mk2 as we kickass and take names throughout the Rush.

Like the Sole Survivor in Power Armor with Dogmeat!

Yeah, I have been on some forums where they really love to use the banhammer, if you go back to some of my first posts here on the forum you will see my anxiety, lol. But so far here things have been good, the staff seem pretty chill, and this is your thread, so as long as you don't feel like we have screwed things up for you, I think it is alright? Don't quote me on that though.

Yeah, I like playing the ranged weapon smuggler, hit em with the Ark Caster to disable the shield, then riddle them with bullets. I am going to look into the SecurityMP you talked about, test out the damage and such, cause firing four bullets a turn sounds rad as hell. But I think I might have sold it instead of putting it into my ships storage. Crap...

When it comes to Space Marines I love both. I love the loyalists and the Imperium, but I also love the traitors and Chaos. I can't get enough WH40K. Plus, Slaanesh is a great patron god to have here on the forums.

The PC will eventually get to have power armor of some kind.

YES. My dreams are slowly coming true! I won't be able to play as an Astartes, but with power armor I could make an Inquisitor. Oh, or even better, a character with white hair, a fleur-de-lis on her cheek, and an undying love for The Emperor. Ohhh, how I love me some cute Sisters of Battle. @Endwar look up Bolter to Kokoro, and you will fall in love as well. <3

First off; Huzzah and Praise the Emprah for Power Armor! Definitely an Inquisitor for me...just had a thought I wonder what would be the Imperium's stance on herm Inquisitors.

Second, thats a relief to know that the pressure is less stressful in this community, I can actually understand the anxiousness of it all. Oh btw Bolter to Kokoro was adorable! In return check out Death Korp Quest.

Ahaha, Death Korp Quest is great, I love the Death Korps of Krieg. I think they are my favourite group of Guardsmen, even above the Cadians & Gaunt's Ghosts.
Herm Inquisitors... Hmmm. Is it a mutation? If so you may not have any luck. Mutations are generally frowned upon in the Inquisition..

@Vio You wrong...kinda. Everyone know that mightest spell and attack is to cast Fist. Even Rock can't compare to well casted Fist ;)
