He pulls out what appears to be a rod of metal, engraved with intricate carvings over its surface. It seems to be the shaft of a weapon.

She tiredly looks up when he approaches. "Oh. Good. You found half the shaft." She murmurs, smiling slightly.
"Yep it was in a tree of all places. Here you hold these." He says handing the pieces to her before picking her back up in a bridal carry. "Where to now lady."
"Wait... The pendant. Take that stone off and find the slot on the shaft where it fits." She murmurs, tapping the pendant.
"Ok." He says placing her back down and doing as instructed he takes the stone and looks on the metal shaft to see where it fits.
It seems to fit right in the middle, where there's a small divot where the stone would seem to fit.
The stone flashes briefly, and the markings on the shaft start glowing slightly red.
"Alright. We're done. Now we need to find the next part of the weapon..." She murmurs, and the shaft suddenly drops downwards. "Which is apparently below us. Thank god." She murmurs.

"Like in the ground below us or in another level of hell below us?" He asks as he process to pick her up.
"Another level. It points to the nearest piece, so... Yeah. Downwards to hell it is." She murmurs, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Obviously. Your arms are so fucking limp. Like noodles." She mutters, pointing towards the right. "We have to go that way.
With a roll of his eyes he holds her tighter to his chest and starts to wall in the direction she pointed out.
As he walks, he notices that the Lady is leaning her head on his chest, and looks like she's asleep.
A small grin forms on his face as he walks. He keeps his eyes open for any threats and a suitable place to rest for a while.
"Hey Ozark how close are we to the next hole?"

"A few kilometres away. By the way... There's a very large swarm of... Something... Headed your way. I can't tell if they're hostile or not, but I suggest you move quickly." He says .
"Shit. Thanks for the heads up." He says before look around the immediate area for any kind of cover they could use.
He sees some sort of shallow cave or depression in the ground nearby. But who knew if it was safe or not...?
He quickly jogs over to it and sets down lady at the entrance before walking in with his blade ready.
As he walks in, he sees a lot of webs, as well as the skeletons of some poor unfortunate souls .
"Who goes there!?" A voice suddenly hisses out loud from within the darkness.

"A messenger of Ozark. Who are you?" He hisses in return as he looks around the cave to find the voice.
There's a pause before the thing replies. "Why have you come here? To my home, and uninvited, too?" The voice asks again.
In the darkness, he can barely make out a large figure and eight legs. Not much apart from that .

"Well I didn't know this was your home. Since its my first time down here. And I came in because there a big ass swarm of something coming this way, and so I thought I could use this as a temporary shelter for me and the lady of darkness." He explains as he watches the creature.

The moment he brings her inside, her eyes immediately pop open. "Huh? Where are we?" She mumbles, sitting up and looking around.
"My lady? You're alive..." The voice hisses from behind.
"Huh?" The lady turns around, looking at the source of the voice. "My goodness. Kilora? What are you doing down here?" She asks, sounding surprised.
The figure steps forward closer into the light, and he sees that it's a large drider woman.
"Long story, my lady." She sighs, before looking at Malkar. "Who are you, again?"
"My lady? You're alive..." The voice hisses from behind.
"Huh?" The lady turns around, looking at the source of the voice. "My goodness. Kilora? What are you doing down here?" She asks, sounding surprised.
The figure steps forward closer into the light, and he sees that it's a large drider woman.
"Long story, my lady." She sighs, before looking at Malkar. "Who are you, again?"
"I am Malkar the newest and only messenger of Ozark." He says to the drider before looking to lady. "So how do you two know each other?" He asks
"She... Used to be my servant. Back in... Well..." She murmurs.
"A long time ago." The drider says, finishing the sentence.
