He creature blocks the shot with his weapon, before quickly swinging it upwards and hitting him in the jaw with the blunt side.

Staggering back he shakes his head and refocuses on the creature. He then starts to circle the creature looking for an opening.
He continues circling for another moment before charging with his shield raised trying to bash the creature with it before hacking low with his blade at its legs.
The creature is hit by the shield and stumbles back, before blocking the swing with his axe shaft. Then, he pushes him back and swings hard for his shield.
He raises the shield to block the strick while thrusting his blade at his leg right above the knee.
The axe hits the shield, but the thrust only grazes the leg, opening up a minor flesh wound. Nevertheless, the thing was pissed, and roars again, swinging an overhead strike down.
Malkar lifts his shield again but this time he angles the shield away from him to throw the creature off balance.
The creature screams out with pain as the blade bites deep, before diving away from him, side dripping acidic blood that steamed as it hit the ground. This time, it circles around, waiting for him to make the first move.
Hissing at his opponent. Malkar charges it bringing the pointed end of his shield up aiming to jab it into the creature's gut.
The thing sidesteps, before swinging down at the shield hard enough to force him to drop it, before turning to him and narrowing his eyes. "Now... You are finished." He growls .
"We'll see." He hisses as he circles it for a minute before rushing him and feints a swing with his blade as his tail shoots foward aiming to wrap around the axe and drive it to the ground.
The creature wasn't expecting the use of his tail like that, and the axe is driven to the ground, with the sword piercing his chest.
With a yell he drives the sword deeper into its chest as his other hand grabs the weapon part and pulls.
The weapon part comes out with a loud squelch, and the body turns to dust as soon as it exists.
"Well that's surprising. I thought you were dead." Lady says dryly.

"Good to know." He says as he flicks the remaining acid blood off his blade, and then he passes her the piece to her.
She holds it to the weapon, and with a loud crack, the next piece seals itself in.
"Huh. The gem is still here. Convenient." She says, chuckling.

"True." He says as he walks over to where kilora's shield fell and hands it back to her. "Thanks for the shield kilora. Allright lets go." He says
"Wow. It's dented..." She mutters, sighing with annoyance and glaring at the pile of dust that used to be the creature. "Annoying cunt." She mutters, scuttling ahead.
"Yeah he talked to much." He says as they continue on. "Hey lady how far way Is the next portal?" He asks
"Not sure. I'm just hoping it's not somewhere in the middle of a pool of acid. That would seriously fucking suck." She mutters.
"Yeah I like having my skin on my bones." He says with a chuckle. 'Hey boss how far are we from the next portal?'
"Well... Anyway... Let's get going." She mutters, sighing.
"Somewhere to your right, if I remember correctly. Not entirely sure though..."

'Thanks' he replies before turning to the others "Its somewhere this way." As he says as he points with is blade to the right, and starts walking in that direction.
"Just a warning... I'm not going to be able to help you from the next level onwards. My sight, you see. It's not what it used to be. And no, I cannot use your eyes to see. My influence is not strong enough to penetrate the depth."
'Well it is hell I shouldn't get my hopes up on a level which is nice and sunny with a beach. Anyway what's the next level like?' He replies as he steps over a rotting corpse.
