Alex dries herself off after the tryst in the lake, gets dressed, and makes her way back to where the others were holed up and waiting.

Kae follows suit, lagging a little behind after dressing what little clothing her pregnancy allowed her to but heading to find the others as there was, after all, a few things to discuss about their future in Síddhe lands.

Tori gave her apologies to the centaur she had called, as the problem she was going to ask about solved itself. "Thank you, all of you, I will gather my companions and we will be with your lords as soon as we are able," she said with a slight bow. Heading off to fide the rest of her friends, as well as the elder of the tanuki, she opened the scented letter and read it as she walked.

The letter appears to have been written by a Countess St.Clair, inviting you to discuss your people's future with her at her large red tent that straddles the creek. Her hand writing is very neat and she makes more than a few sexual innuendos in the letter.

The young jackalope woman who delivered it hobbled off with her awkward gait, clearly havIng been the recipient of an intense fucking.

You are also approached by maple the bbq-ess, she hand's you a folded piece of parchment telling you to take care of that "at your earliest convenience." it appears to be a bill for all the cooked geese, costing 120 silver in total.

So we have three, apparently horny, nobles, all looking to court us in one form or another. Tori paused and looked around for a relatively secluded spot. Ducking behind a tent, she quickly wrote the names of the tree nobles in the sand; each name spaced well apart from the others. Once she was done, she closed her eyes and focused on her deity. Epona, which of these lords will help the tanuki to find a new home and hearth? [Cast a spell roll for Guidance: 7]

[Yout know you can ask for more direct guidence by petitioning based on the precipt of your religion right? What is Epona's precipt by the by?]
At any rate your rote is cast and the symbol of epona glows vibrantly on your hand and causes you to point at the Duchess Dewinter's name.
[I like the establishing of fiction to be a group exercise so one of you feel free to throw out a reason in particular why the duchess would be a good patron to have (within reason)]

Kae caught a glimpse of Tori walking behind a tent in a shifty manner. She whistled for Alex to stop and pointed towards the tent. "Tori just passed there. Could you see if you can find Asher and bring him here?"

She kept walking taking the path the huntress had taken a moment before in time for her to see the written names on the sand and Tori's hand pointing at Dewinter's name. "So they already made their moves? I bet that if we wait for longer a dozen more letters will arrive." The elf thought quietly for a moment, her eyes lingering on each of the written names. "We could do much worse than these. I heard good things about the duchess... she is rumored to be a good judge of character and most importantly, she is said to be fair with her vassals. You will soon find out how much that means around here."

With her ritual finished, Tori stood and turned to find Kaelys watching her. "Oh, there you are," she said, as she straightened her clothes. Just getting a outside opinion on the people that want to talk to us.. It seems that Epona favors this Dewinter."

"Yes, we will need all the help we can get choosing a patron. Picking the wrong one could be catastrophic for all the involved."

Asher having been among the villagers informs the group on what's happening keeping them calm and telling them how everything will be alright. After doing that for a bit he sees Alex and gives a smile "There you are! Where is Kae at I just finished informing the villagers.." He said approaching her.

"Informing the villagers about what, exactly?" She asks, turning around to face Asher. "Has something gone on while me and Kae were off getting a bath?"

"We've been approached by several nobles who wish to chat," answered Tori, as she and Kae came walking over; having had little trouble spotting the tall horse-woman in the crowd. "A Baron Blackwood, a Dutchess Dewinter, and a Countess Saint Claire. Of the three, Epona seems to think that Dewinter would be the one to talk to about setting up a new home for the tanuki, so if someone wants to escort the elder to speak with her, then I think it would be best if the rest of us went to see what these other two want; and if necessary, let them down gently. Personally, I don't think it would be a good idea to scorn the nobles of the area on our first day here."

"So what you're saying is, I should probably escort the elder to Dewinter, to not accidentally piss off one of the others?" She says, knowing she isn't the best talker of the bunch.

"Actually, I thought our little knight could escort the elder," said Tori, giving Asher a wry smile. "I think it might be a better idea if you were to back up Kaelys with a little... quiet intensity. Wouldn't want anyone trying to take advantage of a pregnant woman, would we? Then you two can talk to one of the other nobles, while I talk to the other, and they won't be able to rope all of us, and the villagers, into anything major since not all of the village representatives will be in the same place." Tori finished laying out her plan, and waited to see what the others thought of it.

"Alright... yeah that sounds fine." She says, looking to Kaelys. "I take it you're gonna be alright with that, Kae... right?" She gives her a light smile.

"Before we decide anything, I want you all to pay very close attention to what I'm about to say, it's imperative that you keep it in mind through all of tonight's dealings." The elf seemed very apprehensive as she sat in one of the many tree stumps that served as chairs. "You should remember I was not keen to having the village move here if there was even a chance to go another path and I also advised Alex and Tori to avoid food and drinks if they could so that they didn't have their souls stolen."

The druid was rather serious as she continued to speak. "That's due to the existence of something called Entheogen Wine. It's a kind of potion one could easily serve as a beverage or slip into a soup or some other kind of food and it causes a person to loose a large part of their cognitive functions... in other words it can strip away part of a person's mind and turn them into a bimbo sex crazed and incredibly stupid version of themselves. We are amidst pacifists here, so if you commit a crime, that's what they will do to you. You can't be a criminal if all you're good for is thinking of cocks and holes, right?"

She sighed as she went one. "That would be acceptable if used mostly as a form of punishment, it avoids having to cut a thief's hand or hanging a murderer... but some of the leaders of the community are known to use it a lot more freely than that. Have someone offend you? Have someone refuse your advances? Have someone you just plainly don't like? Think someone could be dangerous? Slip them some bimbo wine."

"That's why you all should thread very lightly tonight and be sure of the choice we will have to make. We need to find an honorable patron for our people... one that won't take their souls away."

Asher began to fidget a little "How could something like that exist and why allow it?" He muttered under his breath as he listened to Kae's explanation of the potion that apparently was used often with these folks, he couldn't help but look over his shoulder outta instinct before returning his attention back to the group "To be honest I don't like us all being here in general everything's just a tad bit overwelming...and the thought of slutifying juice getting into my system doesn't help.." Asher commented.

"Not too close. Last thing you want is to be perceived as a threat." She added with an awkward smile on her face.

"It's not all bad, Asher. This is a bountiful land and probably the safest place you could find. The villagers could thrive here enough that they would not have to worry another day for the rest of their lives and once hired by a patron, others will have no right over you. The trick is finding a wise a rightful one."

The elf tried to keep her smile on but a tinge of sadness blemished it. "Nothing will go rowdy. This is a court of elves and fey... they will not raise weapons nor will they force us to do it. Peace reigns absolute. It's trickery and deceit you have to worry about. They don't often lie but they are very cunning with what kind of truth they will show."

"Alright... well, I know you're better with words than I am, but won't they see you suspiciously?"

Asher furrowed his brows "Well if trickery is their game then I sure can play! Not that I want to but it seems that if we want the best for everyone here we'd haft to stoop to their levels.." Asher said a bit cautiously.

After all the tension, Kae actually laughed. "Yes! Very suspicious! You probably noticed there isn't a single elf around here that looks like an elf. Most of the residents embraced the transformatives entirely, to the point you can't even tell elf from gnome from fairy anymore. Very few remain unchanged like I am. Including some very important people." The elf ran a finger over the feathers in her hair. "Mostly unchanged, I mean... occupational hazard, you see. If they noticed me they will probably be trying to figure out who I am and who I know. Being a druid only makes me that more suspicious because... well... that's a story for another day."

"The point is they will be wary of offending me and that is good for us." She tried to put on airs. "This one time, the pregnant elf lady will be your best weapon so it's up to you to choose how to deploy me. Tori and I agree that the Duchess is one of our best prospects, will you choose to send me to her as a sign of good faith or will you send me as a trump card to someone who might offer more agreeable terms with me around?"

She caressed her belly as the warrior asked. "This is probably the first elf tenuki baby ever so there is no way to be sure but judging from how I look and feel I would say this child is at least a month or two away." The elf looked quite proud of her pregnancy. "I am rather excited about the prospect of my boobs growing a bit larger too. I wonder what my milk will taste like."

"Kaelys, Why don't you and Alex have a word with this Baron Blackthorn, while I have I see to that dutchess Saint Clair? As I said, I have a feeling that Asher and the elder can handle Dewinter," offered Tori.
