So, the Attack Drone skill path for the tech specialist is viable again - good.
Either that, or Charge Weapon is just that ridiculous. I like it, though. It does eat your Accessory slot if you want to do good damage. There was a new Laser Drone added recently, too. Current count is 3 (or so). Tam-Wolf (2.0), Siegwulfe (Combat, Bimbo, Bimbo-Domme), Laser.
Does "Flower Power" (Cerespirin) work well with a tease build or does it cause more problems than it's worth?
I actually don't know. If it fits your aesthetic, go for it.
I will say, most Minimum Lust increases don't stack. So if you have +20 from Flower Power, you can pick up, say, Amazonian Needs + Inhuman Desire (via KiroQuest) and not increase Minimum Lust. (Theoretically. I haven't tested that specific combination.)
With +45 Minimum Libido, you may as well get Energizing Libido at that point.
Good to see that Melee Smuggler is no longer the worse build in the game. Is the melee mercenary viable?
As far as I know, yes. It's just not as ridiculous/Easy Mode as Ranged. Warden Shield is basically intended for Melee Mercenaries. A very potent combination is FZR Fire Suppression System + 'Crushing' Melee weapon. FZR inflicts Deep Freeze, which
1. Decreases target's Evasion by 50
2. Doubles all damage from a 'Crushing' attack.
FZR cannot be fired more than once/turn (without Rapid Fire), and I've never seen Deep Freeze occur when Rapid Fired. Might be a fluke, though. It really does seem designed as a sidearm for a primarily melee build. I can only imagine how ridiculous Sneak Attack + Deep Freeze would be.
Don't use -Accuracy Melee weapons, keep your total Evasion positive (you take more damage if Evasion is < 0).
I forgot. While the Melee Smuggler may want Custom Shock Gear, Ranged can go with Rouser for +15 Evasion (10 x 1.5). Melee can, too, but then you have to go back to Blinding/Stunning via special attacks.
I see that you listed the Ranged versions of Merc and Tech for tease builds - is the smuggler not good for them or do they just lack perks that make a good tease build? (I thought that the Smuggler would be perfect for tease builds as they have high evasion anyway).
I've really only played a Melee Attack Drone Tech Specialist and a Ranged Smuggler, so that's where most of my advice will be coming from. I've dabbled with Mercenary, but I found it oddly squishy by comparison. I may be playing it wrong. Admittedly, I wasn't going full Ranged build. I think I was spoiled by how mono-stat Melee Tech Specialist is.
For Smugglers, the Royal Shard Bow has the highest Evasion bonus (Tied with Zil Champion) of any Ranged weapon. You can do kind of silly things with Shoot First, though most will advise you take Low Blow instead. If you take Quick Draw instead of Kip Up, you can switch between your Royal Shard and whatever your HP damage of choice is and not lose Shoot First/Alpha Strike*. RSB does Drug damage, so some things are highly resistant. Others, it works fantastically on.
*Lust weapons don't seem to benefit from Critical Hits.
