With Valk charging at the guards and beginning the fight, Verona left the cover of the building, turning the corner as she cast a spell. As her invocation finished, the warlock raised her hand towards the guards and released a beam of crackling crimson energy past the kobold warrior.

Valk's hammer smashes into a man's chest with a crack, breaking a couple of ribs. The guy grunts in pain.

Said human fights back with his sword. 17 to hit, 4 damage if it hits.

However his fight is cut short by a burst of poison, killing him. The poison hits an orc in the face and blinds her.

The blind orc swings blindly while screaming in pain. The other orc goes to cut Valk with his great axe. 10 to hit, 6 damage if it hits.

The dart sinks into the blind female orc causing her more pain but she still stands.

The blast hits the attacking orc,making him grunt in pain.

The dagger kills the attacking orc.

The other warriors turns from the fire. They will be on the group at the end of the next turn. The leader walks out of where the magic items are and growls. "You lot are out numbered. Surrender now and you'll only be made slaves."

Dead:1 orc, 1 human.
