she still has a bump(?) where her nose used to be, figured making that a design choice would make her easier to draw in terms of face proportions

added her description in tits for more obscure things that i couldn't really do in hs2

And we're back after a long hard work week! here's a quick update of my OC! She's currently on the ant world going after the next probe and a set of chitin armor. She got a haircut and she's got full mimbrane infestation and 2-3 trust on all of them. I wanna get her the parasite tail (forget the name) and maybe make her a futa next. Does anyone know any other infestations she could get that would coexist with the mimbranes?

You guys all have really interesting characters that are challenging to draw! That's why I like this forum because I'm sick of drawing the same kind of OC over and over and you all have really diverse characters, but the downside is that I think these might be my worst deliveries yet!

If you guys want anything changed, I'll be coloring all the roughs I've done tomorrow, so say so before then.

I hope appearance screen dumps are acceptable for making a request?

This request made me find out that I really don't know how to draw felines at all. This was my best shot out of like a dozen attempts, so sorry if it doesn't look that good!

Again, not sure if this looks good, but it was my best shot. How transparent is she? should you be able to see through her?

Last thing is, would anyone have a character I could please pair with my new bunny trap? I had an idea for a drawing for him, but I don't wanna use characters without permission. I could use another one of my OCs, but I figure I could knock out a delivery at the same time!

When an artist asks for suggestions here, I try to suggest ideas that could be somewhat challenging but still would go along said artist's style. Hence why I let you choose between my CoC Champion and my Steele Fengames allow for a lot of configurations, so OC designs are bound to be varied.

If things end up looking wonky, well... you live and you learn.

Oh he looks absolutely great, I really like the facial features you gave him and his physique has that personal sweet spot of athletic but not swole.
If you could make the tooth jutting out from the left side of his jaw a little smaller and give him a bit more fluff down his chest and around the back of his neck (if possible, not sure how hard that may be to portray on a front angle) it would make him just about a perfect fit for the mental image I have of him.
Also thanks a lot for this, it's the first time someone drew a request for one of my characters so I'm pretty stoked!

If you wanna get good at drawing, the first step would be learning from someone better than me lol, I'm barely decent at best. I'm not being humble, realizing how good you actually are is important to improving!

There are a ton of great artists out there and in this forum that you can learn from, and by all means you should be reading and following tutorials (Loomis!), youtube vids, etc. but also spend a lot of time just drawing on your own. You're the worlds leading expert on drawing like you, so no tutorial can beat that. Also be sure to draw a lot of different things, not just one type of character. For example, getting good at making backgrounds helps you get better at figures and vice versa.

If you do that for long enough, you'll get to a point where you make pictures that you're proud of. Then if you're like me, you'll see another artist's work and hate your own work again, which causes you to try and improve more! I don't know if this is healthy but it did make my art better from where it was.

Anyways, my basic process goes kinda like this.

1. I put down a blob that's roughly shaped like what i want to draw. I don't worry about being precise, it's just gotta be facing at roughly the right direction, and in roughly the right perspective.

2. I add rough details, in this case muscles. I use references a lot for this. I use as big a brush as I can to save time and prevent me from fiddling too much at this stage.

3. I establish where my light is by lightening/shading the proper areas, again references help a ton. After this stage, if the rough doesn't look good I just start over. It's faster than spending a ton of time tweaking your work and you learn to draw faster.

4. When the rough is finally ok, I refine the shapes with lines.

5. I add fine details and deepen the shaded areas and highlight the lighter areas.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, if you can practice and make someone else happy then you're doing two things at once! Try doing free requests, it'll force you to draw things you're not comfortable drawing and it'll make someone's day. People were happy to get requests filled even when I just started drawing and was submitting literal MS Paint art.

I used to use a pirated version of photoshop, but that stopped working! I'm using Krita right now cause it's free and the closest to Photoshop that I could find.
