Although, horns like that can sometimes get in the way of day-to-day activity...
and not to mention hugging struggles, sleeping on her side struggles......it is kinda her own fault.

Sucks about school. I know about struggling with education; I dropped out at 17 and it took me years of my life to get back on track. But I did get it back on track. You've got a real talent for art even if it's not academically recognized, so I have confidence you'll be fine. Chin up
I don't know where you applied, but you may have actually dodged a bullet. My experience with art school was not terrific. I did receive a pretty decent art education, and I loved my instructors, but the environment created by the administration was incredibly toxic. It pretty effectively destroyed my love of the craft for a very long time.
