As someone who tried to see how far you can go without having sex, you don't actually have to have sex with Arona to recruit her (unless something has changed recently).
And that's my confession, that I actually dedicated a number of hours playing a smutty porn game intentionally trying not to see any of the porn. And I'll do it again too.
Can confirm you can solely interrogate/leave Arona without sexing at all and still continue her warcamp quest - living proof here with my personal distaste for orcs (except the gray skin for some of my characters).
And yeah, my Charmer ironically never has the smex despite teasing the ever-loving fuck out of everyone and everything.

Saaaaaaaaaaame. Rags is fine but the rest can piss off. Maybe it's just years of fantasy using orcs as a catch all evil monster species, but I just don't like orcs in any incarnation. Skyrim? Angry squatters hording ebony. LotR? Generic evil assholes. Orcs just suck. All this years of conditioning have made it too late to make orcs morally grey and the Kervus are not exempt.
You don't have to touch Arona at all to recruit her. Bring Brint with you and let him do the work. Additionally, if you want to monopolize your side of prime beef... you can just keep interrogating Arona. It's slower and she always says the same stuff but eventually the quest will trigger.
To be fair, I haven't actually played the game since before her quest was implemented. I think it was mostly just to assert dominance that I had sex with her in the first place. I'll likely restart my playthrough at some point, so I'll keep this in mind.
That quest was concluded in May 2019
I believe there may be a considerable amount of material which will be new to you in the game...please enjoy.
Wow, it really doesn't seem that long ago I saw the update she could become a follower. I did take a break from the game since there wasn't a lot to do story/quest-wise, so if the updates didn't look like they added to the main story I probably didn't pay attention.

May or may not have just made a chimera bug PC warrior solely to tank and absolutely enjoy only teasing mobs while accruing shotfucktonnes of Threat via spamming Guarded Stance.
To quote the Spider Silk appearance stuff: "Your legs are covered in a reflective black, insectile carapace up to your mid-thigh, looking more like a pair of 'fuck-me-boots' than exoskeleton."
