    This could be caused by a bug on the current release. Saving/loading under the effects of Mascoff permanently removes your cocks, and causes a crash when the effect ends. Should be fixed for next.

    Cheating will tend to mess things up, yes. As you see in your screenshot, your skin type is "skin," so your tail will show that color. You want your skin type to be "scales" in order to have your tail show the scale color.
