Slightly off topic, that's not actually Voldemort's head. It has a nose. It's just a manifestation of dark magic that also happens to be bald and squinty.

Willpower does have a way to raise it in the works, but I haven't seen any updates on it's progress from Savin recently. A series of encounters with a Stormguard warrior will act as a slow, but repeatable way of raising willpower.

The whole "the PC can get TF'd" excuse has never really held water with me, as nothing else in the game works that way. The PC can go from 4' 0" to 10' and never need to get a change of clothes.

Not really. Just look at where the barrel is pointing and move before they fire. It's not that complicated, SAO just had to make Kiro look like the smartest guy in every game he's in, so they hype it beyond all reason.
