    Couple of tweaks later, looking a lot more like the final result I had originally intended (still missing all the polish). Blame the absurd lack of DPI scaling support for it looking blurry, I made it so the display is 720p in the screenshot. I'm really, really tempted to manually change...

    This might be a stupid question, but I'm really not all that good with Java yet: what is the best method of importing a github project to an IDE & also which IDE do you use? It always seems to be a bit of a pain in the ass to import things over for me.

    Yeah, you're trying to reprogram the game from compiled code. If you want to change class files, I would recommend downloading the github source code and importing it to an IDE of your choosing (Eclipse Mars / Netbeans will work just fine). You might want to acquire some basic java programming...

    There's a few "combo" moves that are fundamentally uncounterable and therefore unbeatable irregardless of circumstance, although they require somewhat high levels to pull off (unlocking all of them takes a while). Won't spoil them though, would make the game less fun.

    I like the changes to the map, it's almost exactly what I was intending to eventually do (although now the map layout it wrong again). What was the spoiler feature? I hope I didn't mess with that on accident. I hope to be able to contribute some more in about a month.

    Creation interface still looks messed up, but I've barely scratched the surface on it. That's probably going to be the first thing I change as soon as I get my free time back.
