Can we make it Darker??

Idk if I'm the only one that has experienced this (and this is by no means a complaint) but the game feels easy even on the dark difficulty. Is there any way to make the enemies harder/spawn more combatants per encounter??

I agree with you on this.
You could populate the overall world with some harder encounters than an overall harder experience, as for ex.: with the Coastlands players have to pay more attention now whit most of the fights.
Yet even so for many builds with the new gear upgrades from that region, even those encounters become somewhat trivial.

Challenge yourself if the game itself doesn't anymore. You can always do solo- or ironman-runs or just use worse versions of skills if you want a challenge.

Only very few players play on dark and some that don't might get rightfully mad that development time would be spent on players like us three.

...You can always do solo...
That is rare to be done as having the exact combination of survivability + damage output (for the most dificult of mobs wich mostly self heal or have healers with them), and than having to shift classes just for content purposes (you would miss alot of content because of missing companions in certain circustances, unless you would bring them only for that).

I have an warrior that is capable of such but than again it's just one character that i managed that way of all my chars.

Usually with how it is in rpgs - this one included - it's super super hard at the start and gets progressively easier as the game progresses. Usually you'd have to have your run fully mapped out to attempt such a thing.

On another note: I've finally beaten every encounter solo on dark, except Kas (which I won't even attempt), with my tanky paladin build. The level 2 spell "Roaring Storm" was actually the key to beating Amberoga and her crew in the Coastlands and Eyslaine in the arena.

Ye Roaring Storm is an very good encounter Power indeed.
What i noticed is that some builds that can solo mostly struggle against healers compositions if they don't have an Bleeding ability.
And those that have it easier against the more difficult physical encounters like the ones you mention above struggle against magical predominant compositions like Charline in some degree.
I'm not that fancy with what you showed above, but i can share my save if you wanna look at my monk like character (currently is in an group, and i like to be tematic as in only using Powers that are/could be in the lines of such an character to be using, name is 'Upekka', i'l even share my paladin builds so you can see what i mean with the latter 'Kin'irochiyu' [wich is more of an blade priest] and 'Papum').
Btw did manage to do solo from the start all the wy to the end, as even in the turtorial it's really dificult for some classes to survive solo as you don't have a lot of Powers nor Consumables available yet?

It isn't. I used to play on two different save files that ran parallel. One for solo and this "main savefile" of mine. The pure solo one doesn't exist anymore. Must've deleted it some time ago. I won't try to attempt another pure solo run. I'm not feeling it. On my main save I just overleveled to level 9 to check out all the new content, breezed through most of the "new" content since the release of Windy Peaks in group and solo, but only kept the savefiles that were cleared in group.

I had originally quit the game a few years back with the nerf to Black Mage glass cannons and with the announcement that there would again be fox NPCs in the Windy Peaks region. That must've been around when level 6 was still max level. Or maybe level 7. shrug
So I have no idea how the currently early game plays at all!

Game felt kinda empty after the peak that was Brihaus. :allears:

So I went ahead and played Trials In Tainted Space instead. Its early game is very well written and was really fun. But the game isn't really receiving any updates anymore, some of the writers also seem to have gooned their brains away and the whole thing kinda turned into freak show porn slop with no depth behind it, so I decided to check back in on CoC! :D

Anyways. Here, lemme share my savefile too. It won't be to your liking since the powers that I use for my build don't align with the traditional class fantasy, like you mentioned you preferred but that's the best I've come up with since returning to the game.
