I don't want to get into this after this because I don't want to shit things up with the worst possible combination of REEEEEya and incest, but first of all, racism—despicable though it may be—is technically legal. You can be a racist. People are. It's a perfectly normal character flaw, and even if you don't like it, that's just a statement of fact. Riya's content just takes that and the fact that it's a taboo and turns it into a kink. She's also one character in a vast pool and isn't even that expansive. In addition, her content is incredibly clear that she is, in fact, a parody. Her lines are incredibly over-the-top.

Incest is straight up illegal. While patreon has made the awful choice of getting to define what's "artistic" and what's not, we have to deal with it. I don't like that they're hard blocking certain types of text-based or drawn porn any more than the next guy, but fact of the matter is that there was practically a novel's worth of nuclear incest, which is explicitly what they banned (primarily parent+child but siblingcest is sketchy).

Also, double standards exist. Get used to it.

To you, yes. We try not to kink shame, and if you're a person who can and does enjoy that form of degradation as a kink, then she's great for that. If not, so be it, but don't shit on it as a kink because you don't find it hot.

Also, you've moved the goal posts. The original thing about incest was your problem that it's banned. It's banned because of patreon, not because Fen just suddenly said "Oh boy, I should ban one of the most popular fetishes and piss of my fan base because a huge chunk of really popular, well written content has to be removed." Then you realize she actually has a soft spot for her Ausar boss, and makes a pretty big effort of keeping all her comrades alive, no matter their species. Hell you can have half breed babies with her, and she's pretty "chill" with you in the nursery, (Kinda has Sera syndrome with it being a safe space for her, but Riya less so).

My favorite thing to cite is the Riya Christmas event where Riya, very "happily" (consensual resistance till top bitch is established) gets dommed by Grence, her Ausar boss. SOME HOT SHEET there.

Riya puts up a front, a facade if you will. Now if you want to make a 35k essay about why she's like this, cause I imagine you would, be my guest. But all in all, her attitude boils down to one thing, Franks being Franks, and Franks lowkey making fun of 4chan. (Do not quote me on the 4chan thing, that part changes like the wind.)

Am I? I stated before that I have to deal with people like that outside of games regularly so fuck me for being more sensitive to that shit, I guess.

I don't begrudge people who get off on her stupid shtick, maybe you should go back and read my other posts on the topic and actually get what I'm saying. But I'll summarize it for you anyway: IF IT WAS CONFINED TO THE BEDROOM I WOULDN'T REALLY CARE! But the fact that she behaves that way, is a cop AND in the starting zone where newcomers can easily get the wrong idea about what the game will be like and put off (which no creator should want) or miss out on characters like Penny and Sylvie because they'll expect similar shit from them is far from a good place to be in.

Hell, if Riya was written with any sort of tact and placed on a later world in a position that doesn't entail working with all sorts of people on a daily basis, I'd maybe even see the merit of having an openly discriminating character in TiTS and exploring the reasons and consequences of that type of behavior.

But alas, it's a fucking porn game and the thought and care necessary to handle that kind of subject material respectfully and without ticking people off evidently wasn't applied here.

And again, if it was confined to the bedroom, I wouldn't care. If Riya was, say, a designated degradation-play prostitute at Beth's where you know off the bat what you're getting into, I would be fine with that because it's telegraphed and can be easily avoided without being a beginner's trap for the 4chan lulz.

But what makes you so sure it's fake and not a sincerely held belief? You can still be a racist asshole and put showing those tendencies on the backburner if your ass is on the line and your life depends on not antagonizing the people around you at the time (with regards to the special forces part).

Sure that holds true in the real world, but this is a game, a fetish game at that, people aren't claiming that its a sexual thing for her they say she is slightly trolling and her being super racist plays into some peoples race-play fetish, for a lot of people whether she actually means it or not doesn't matter, because people know this is fiction and they play it for the fantasy presented, in the same way a ton of race-play kink fiction have actual racists in it.

Riya is a racist (Or behaves like a racist at least) and thats hot, not only because she treats my character like shit during sex but because she treats them like shit outside of it too, that plays into the overall fantasy, in the same that knowing that my character doesn't just play being more bimbo-like when she gets treated, its an actual mental effect.

If she just was a person who treated you like shit in general and then when you consented to race play would degrade you, that would be hot sure, but it wouldn't in any way be the same kind of fantasy as the one presented in the game.

I think Penny has the most busts per character in game so far. I really dig Jacques00 bust though. Really good line art and excellent use of color. And the little detail of what Penny is swinging based on her having clothing or being nude.

What's 4chan have to do with anything? All I know is when I was fully human, she was nice and talked about games. Then I alter myself with shit I found in Mhen'ga and she treats me like shit. I've never seen a XMas special or the April Fools stuff for that matter. I don't even know if that stuff is canon. All I know is hate fucking a type of person who've spent most of the week being prejudice to isn't cool, or likeable or healthy.

Generally Fen has only 4 requirements for content

1. The writing is of sufficent quality
2. No lore conflicts with existing content
3. Smut
4. No blacklist (incest, vore, scat, etc.)
   
5. (For existing content, the original author has supreme veto power)

Riya satisfied this criteria. As controversial as she is, the fact that Franks wrote her, Fen accepted her in accordance with above requirements, and a coder implemented her are a valid reason to exist. Most people (myself included) bemoan her existence, but the investment by writer and coder are all that is strictly necessary. There was never a rule that says content in bad taste is not allowed.
