What? I thought most distress calls can be ignored and then you can come back to them, I mean last I checked you could. Or did I just misunderstand what you meant?

In my experience I’ve only be able to ever do a stress call once and if I ignore that it never shows up again

The first prompt can be ignored as many times as you want. The secondary prompt where you learn which event it is is one and done.

I'm 99% sure that once you ignore Zaalt's distress call, you'll never see it again. Because in all of the games I've played and ignored him, I've never gotten him again, I can't be that unlucky

When you get a distress signal, there's a prompt to *listen to it* or to ignore it. If you ignore it in this phase, the event will get shuffled back into the encounter deck. If you read the event's intro text and *then* ignore it, it's gone forever.
