Alright. I've tried to be more understanding and to not be as bad as some others on the forums but I'm taking a moment to vent here.
I have actually reached the point of anger when it comes to futas and dickgirls in this game mostly due to the fact that I just can't seem to reason out why despite how unpopular it seems to be among those that actually comment on these forums and patches we keep getting so many of the kind of dick girl that is so difficult to deal with for so many people.
Karithea was bad enough, if you're into getting dommed that's one thing but the problem was this character crossed lines with other characters the champion can't for seemingly no reason. Mara has some affection for the champion and was helped to find a safe place to be in Khor'Minos? That's great but she's not interested. What's that? Some random bull she's never met comes by? Well then she's happy to get bred!
Tay comes out around the same time, yet another futa domme that bends the player over and if you're not into that. Its a dead character that you will never interact with ever again after smacking her around in the arena for a turn or two. As I said if you're into fine but two in a row that both had massive content was too much.
Two characters with unique appearances in Khor'Minos, Ryxx and Nieve? Both are one way futas that in they're dialogue say that they essentially won't do anything else. Yes they're both from fan writers I believe but that essentially just means random chance screwed these characters out interest from a lot players.
Now we have the elf twins who's biggest gripe when they're quest first came out was that you can't get them away from the dickgirl cat despite the dick girl cat not being down to do anything until... Fuck you she changed her mind and doesn't need a reason despite being quite angry in the same scene. So what does the expansion do? They don't move to the wayfort, they visit with their girlfriend, the fucking cat! All they're expansion has accomplished with me is making me hate that cat, I don't know which one is which cause I avoided them since before the elves they only had one scene where you didn't get fucked by the futa.
Now going into Mayternity, B is writing... You guessed it! Another futa domme that you can potentially fuck at some point... But not before she fucks you roughly and repeatedly. Essentially going through the same paradoxically strange scenario of Evelyn, a dickgirl who you can only fuck after she's fucked you at least 10 times and becomes a domming dragon queen.
At a certain point it almost seems comical. When Karithea came out I hated her but she did get a lot of praise cause she was so novel at the time but this has gotten seriously out of hand compounded by the sparse patches. Which I know aren't something that can be helped but it makes some patches, dead patches.
So it all poses a question; why do a largr amount of futas in this game have to have one or more reasons for a person who doesn't necessarily like futa itself but can stomach it, to just ignore or even hate them? I love Arona, I'm not crazy about the dick but I don't have to take it. That is not true for so, so many of the futas that have come out in the last year and it only seems to be getting worse and I didn't even name all of them. The cat, is a different problem not wholly connected to this but I still find the way this expansion has been done to be baffling.
I've been playing CoC2 since launch, I've backed it for almost as long. I really enjoy the game, I don't have the immolating the hate others do for things like futa or furry but this obsession with inserting futas everywhere, making them do things almost intentionally to aggravate a player. Like with Kari/Mara or flying in the face of the actual appeal of preg content with the elf twins. I don't understand it and I'm having a harder and harder time not disliking futa with how much worse I think its making the game as these characters are currently being used.
I'll once again restate that I don't have some all consuming hate for futa but it's a frustration I've had essentially as long Karithea has been out and its only been getting worse.
