I don't like how wearing the witch set if you're character is male transforms you into a woman. Like, I can understand what they were going for with it, but still... If I wanted to make my character a witch boy, I should have the option to.
I think the transformation is one-time, so if you wear it then use transformatives to undo the changes you can be fine.

I believe the transformation is tied specifically to the corset. As long as you don't put that piece on, you can wear the hat, gloves, and boots just fine and still retain your boyish good looks.
Transformation caused by the Witch Set only occurs when all pieces (including a flame cape... literally can be any flame cape) are equipped. I think the game looks to see you equipped everything and if yes, triggers the transformation. So you can have all the unique pieces equipped, but as long as you never equip a flame cape at the same time, it won't activate.

I think from what I recall, it activate the transformation if you equip the corset and you have all pieces of the set. It auto-equips everything along with the corset if you put the corset on, and the items are in your inventory. So if you just put the flame cape in your chest, or you sell it, and then equip the corset, no transformation occurs, but otherwise, just having them in your inventory when equipping the corset will trigger it.

Yeah the transformation itself is tied to the corset. I would always put everything else on the character I'm playing and sell that one particular piece bc sorry but I don't wanna turn into a girl just for wearing the witch's corset.

actually, how many curses turn you into a woman?
scaredy cat gloves turn you into a cat(no gender change), the belt just gives you a big juicy but, the shield turns you into an olympian god, the corset turns you into a woman, and the pink collar just makes you more feminine, it doesn't really change your gender.

I wish we had more cursed items

Other than that, there isn't really an item that gender swaps the champion, everything only modifies secondary sex characteristics - I don't think any piece of gear will grow a dick or pussy.

It's entirely possible I simply missed the option for it, but I really wish Brienne didn't have forced sex scenes. At the very least, let me put her on birth control, because holy good god, she is PUMPING these kids out and I have no say in it. I'd have to sterilize my character to get it to stop. I have Short Pregnancy Mode turned OFF. I still, somehow, have 45 minotaur children. Brienne, please, we are at capacity.

It's bad when I am wary of/make saves before entering the Frost Hound for fear of getting jumped and being forced to knock her up again. I don't think this specific scenario was happening when Brienne was first made, or I just didn't realize it would be a recurring thing.

If I had the option of hitting undo on transforming Brint, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

To add to the Quinn discussion, I don't mind him having sexual preferences and not wanting to get topped, as much as I want to top the bunny boy. I hate that he's apparently still using his culty lust magic on people and I can't tell him to cut it out.

He comes across as an asshole and not in the fun or funny way, it's hard to describe. Dude makes my skin crawl.

I miss all of Berry's old scenes and I almost regret doing his quests and losing access to those scenes.

But see, if you express your want for such things, the writers will see that there is demand in topping quin, and, by extension, men in general.

Quin's preferences can always be changed. It is also silly for him to be such a stick up when it comes to bottoming since he is a guy that has a rimming scene and sleeping scene where he wakes us up with his but to have non. One could say that it is to his determent, which would be a true statement.

A part of me miss the Resolve mechanic as I think that's an underrated feature.

I think it's funny. I am of the opinion that Quin bottoming content should be something that is worked up to rather than immediately available. Still having anything is better than having nothing all together.

At the same time, Quin is a guy that is more then happy to leave few bastards around, so him drawing the line on anal would just paint him as having his priorities backwards.

Also, frankly, game already puts the act of penetration on a more of a pedestel then bottoming, so for both Quin and Brint to have special scenes where they are on receiving end "because we are something special" to them would just rub me the wrong way.

But why? Cait also only gives you her anal virginity because she feels like you are special (if you manage to protect the poor kitty from evil drider queens).
I find it kinda sweet.

I find it quite cheep, personally. Lets look at Cait, since you brought it up. Sure, it is kind of sweet that she gives you her anal virginity. It is also unacesable if you
have do not have a dick/strap and there is no pussy champ equivelent. It puts more value on dick champs. I would rather for Cait to have a date scene or something that everyone can have acces to. It also boils down the reletionship to sex which I do not like.

Same thing with Quin. I struggle to think what the alternative to his "only bottom to my lover" would be for fem/cboy champs. It also, from my perspective, does not make sense to lock something as major as bottoming behind a reletionship status. Why would my champion, in universe, want to date a guy that does not want to bottom from the outset? Why would I expect anything to change?

Make reletionship progression tied to companions figurativly opening up, not litteraly. Or if you are going to lock sex scenes behind it, lock them all up -- what Tetsuya does. Or pregnancy. I can understand why someone would only want to have children with people they love.

I'm gonna be honest, I always found Cait's saving her anal virginity thing really silly and forced. It feels kind of pointless for her to put so much stock in it when she's a sex priestess who has done pretty much everything else. I understand the reasoning in theory, she has done all those things so she wants to at least save something for somebody special, but why her of all characters? If she was willing to give up her vaginal virginity with no qualms, why is her ass so special? It just seems kind of incongruous with the rest of the character.

Ok, I don´t wanna argue now, how important or relevant it is that cait saved her ass virginity for you. Some may like it, some don´t.
And yes the thing with drider queen is stupid. But that wasnt my point.
I just wanted to give some perspective, to why I feel it is okay to lock certain sex acts behind relationship status.
Some feel more nervous about certain sex acts than others. Especially for a insecure character like Quinn.
Build some trust to him, play his content, then he will open up to us figurativly and litteraly :)

Wasn't trying to argue, just giving my two cents. I'm not saying locking certain sex scenes behind a relationship status is always a bad thing, if done right it can definitely make sense. The thing about Quin is, that ''opening up'' is only going to happen now that his original writer is gone. Initially, he was only going to bottom for you once on your wedding night.

There are a lot of what ifs involved in this game's production but the loss of Hugs and Bubbles from the writing staff are the biggest two, at least for me. Who knows how different the game could have been if they had written Berwyn and Quin to completion?

To be honest, I'm not too sad on the loss of Berwyn as a companion - though with the current trend of rally/summons I think it would be cool if we could get powers to rally/summon Berwyn or Matiha to regain some of that. But I do hope whoever updates Quin will be able to maintain them as a companion - honestly I'd think it be fun to get a revamp of the character, remove a bit of the asshole personality and mellow them out a little. I think it would neat if they change them to be variable gender from the get go, like Lyric is - but to reduce the changes to scenes it would be male and female (half-sexed), that way people can choose their poison, which I think it's better than the transform them later deal, plus Quin can be fairly gender neutral name.

Hugs and Bubble while both great writers were very... inflexible about their content - least it seemed that way to me. And I feel like the appeal of this game is flexibility in choice. So while it's great to wonder what if, I also wonder if it's better this way in some ways.

It feels like the words "Gothmander" and "Gothmander paramour" show up a lot in the Thalia sex scenes, like a LOT a lot. At the very least often enough for it to be noticeable every time it shows up.

Feels like the kind of words that are good once or twice, but some other descriptions would help i think.

"Gothmander" just feels oddly out of place due to it not being a real world, and "paramour" just feels a little too poetic for the scene, especially when repeated multiple times.

Not the worst thing in the world, just a minor immersion break when i see the same overly poetic description repeated for the third or fourth time, that's all.

You literally hit the "Always" button that turns those on and makes her a broodmare, yes.
I just misunderstood what that meant at the time, I thought it was like, I'll always be there for you. Not, let's make one thousand children.

It ultimately isn't a major complaint but it does mean if she's in your party you can get teleported back to hawkthorne a lot.

This must have been years ago, I didn't think it would be like this. ;_; Going back and re-reading it now that I've done a hand-jive in there with the save editor, it didn't SEEM to imply that? I could also just be dumb. Either way, it's off now, and I fully acknowledge it's a problem I made for myself and that the issue is now resolved and done with, but got damn.

An option to bring it up again and be like "maybe not" or to ask about a contraceptive would still be nice, but now that I know it's mostly my own fault... eh.

This save is honestly almost as old as CoC2 itself is and I should really probably make a new one soon. I've very stupidly made a lot of choices just because the option to do so was there, and I, uh, kinda wish I hadn't made some of them now. With games like this I have a bad habit of making a "do everything" character that says "yes" to (ALMOST) everything the game offers so now I think my character is married/engaged to like 10 people that I barely even remember. I usually make backup saves, but I also usually only reload those when I actively dislike the outcome of a choice I made.

If they decide they wanna change their character to suit the desires of the playerbase, cool, great, awesome. If not, I mean... it's their character and their project? My main problems with Quin remain mostly his attitude and flippant nonchalance about using his sex magic on people. I don't even care that much that he's trying to be some stud wanting to fuck every woman he comes across, whatever, but he's just an asshole about it. It actively makes me want to not bring him with me.

I don't want them to change Quin just so I can put my PP in him, that feels kinda weird? Arbitrary? Idk the word I'm looking for. Dude just rubs me the wrong way, and it's not some insecure "b-b-b-but he wants to fuck MY harem" kinda thing that I'm sure is the reason some people don't like him. Let my companions fuck each other more, it's fine, it's fun, hide it behind conversations if you're afraid of scaring off the super hetero guys who feel threatened by it or whatever.

I guess it also doesn't help that Etheryn and Cait are by far my favorite companions.

Characters are not allowed to just not be interested in being anal sluts it seems, or just not be into freely giving anal in general, especially if you're a guy and ESPECIALLY if you're a femboy (Stereotyping much?). This is such a weird and frankly uncomfortable mindset I'm seeing constantly spoken of here as if it's truth and not a porn opinion.

"But it's a porn game it makes no sense to have preferences!" Yet Ramis from TiTS is still straight and has no lezbo options no matter how much people complain that she "should" because sexual preferences are still a thing that exist and not everyone is a pansexual omnifucker who will screw a plant if you asked them to nor should they be just because "porn logic". These are characters still and I find restrictions like those make them more unique, they don't need to be bicycles up for anything for you bc otherwise everything becomes same-y in these types of settings. And in the case of prefs for sexual stuff itself. a character being a man who likes to bed with other men doesn't mean he NEEDS an anal catching scene. Some people are literally just not into that shit just because or there are special cases for that and it doesn't need to be freely done just bc it's the PC. If it's added or there fromt he start fine, I'm not against anal stuff considering I like PC Topping scenes myself, it's just really offputting to see it INSISTED that it needs to be a requirement for male characters off the bat.

Lord help if say in a situation where them being anally penetrated is associated with a traumatic event or something, then it just comes off as if you wanting to "fix" them so that they're your ideal. That's a can of worms of its own so thankfully there's not really any scenario like that.
