Mine is actually a question, why does my lupine turn into a feline just because I use root of man and leave just the ears and tail? if I leave the legs and hands they turn into anubian?? Sorry if it's the wrong place to post but I at least didn't see any myself that would talk about this.

anubians are like lupines except their torso and face are that of humans, a feline has only ears and tail it doesn't matter which ears and tail they are as long as its furry, if I'm not mistaken

Because of how racial scores work, humanoid face & skin (not-fur) means the character is closer to catfolk than to lupine. Doesn't use the specific type of ears / tail, just the existence of.

Same thing explains anubian: furred legs & arms, furry ears, furry tail--closest to anubian.
