I had to look twice before I realized this wasn't a TiTS topic... Anyway, I'm hoping for non-themepark <insert noun> worlds. In this way different realms would be like different continents here on earth before easy travel and homogenization occurred. Different realms would house different peoples with different social/cultural norms, mindsets etc that are influenced by the environment they live in. Form follows function.

For example: I know very little about the next realm; the one Cveta hails from, but it sounds like it has lots of separated floating isles. In such a place winged creatures makes sense, cause you aren't gonna jump from chunk to chunk (unless some can). This race may find lightness of weight to be an attractive trait for both genders, since they'd fly better/more gracefully. Probably aren't too many beefcakes in that race. Flight is integral to their lives, so upkeep is equally important. Contrast this with humans, whose lack of upkeep may be unseemly, but it doesn't really detract from daily life. Cveta's race would obviously never have developed wind instruments cause beaks, and so on...

Compare this to a colder environment, where weightier residents get all the respect and love because that weight was originally a necessity for survival- Jabba could be considered hella attractive here. Another realm may have a far higher concentration of magic juice in the atmosphere- how would that influence its residents' lifestyle. Perhaps another realm lacks some common minerals that earth is abundant in. Lack of electricity due to no copper. And so on, and so on.

The possibilities are far more varied this way, and I think it would be vastly more interesting than ice/fire/farm/jungle/dinosaur/spaghetti world.

Cveta world could be I think called air-themed one. And I think seen some in past meantioning other elements one worlds so I betting we could see 4 world with each themed after one of major and most popular elements ^^

And there was somewhere meantioned idea for make world when our godly team would be tiny compared to normal residents aka giants world.

Spaghetti world...that could be interesting one. But why it makes me think about Space Balls-like world... and all that DEEP difficulty with puzzles there like you know solution been none other than 12345 ;)

I have to agree with Ormael on Cveta's world being an air-themed one. Ultimately though, the problem with themed worlds is that they can be too predictable and can grow one-dimensional and stale. What's important is that the worlds need to be more than just their theme. They need to be alive and this has to be achieved through the characters that live there. These characters are what give the world its history and make it evolve beyond an unoriginal lava world. They need to cause the audience to stay interested and invested by giving the world a narrative (this is why I think Cveta's world is fine despite being themed, I am personally interested in discovering more about her race and her past)

It's fine to have to a themed world, but it is important to make the world more than that. The theme needs to be secondary to the conflict and secondary for the world's reason for existing. But it's important to remember (as MESeele pointed out) that the characters should live in sync with their environment in a sensical fashion.

But to answer the question, I think it would be cool to see a world that morphs got trapped in after the portals went down. Where they are trapped in a hostile environment (due to the weather, terrain, and predation) never knowing if today is their last. As I've already hinted at, the environmental theme isn't important to me. It could be set in a jungle, underwater, an empty space like Minecraft's End, or like any of Gravity Rush's rift planes.

LD and QB are doing a water plane.

Alder has a desert plane mapped out.

Cool, glad to see some metroid music as inspiration. Personally hope that the solitary feeling in those games shines in some of the areas. Maybe this is too much of a spoiler or is just something you can't comment on at this time, but will we be able to go back to that demon world we get sucked into during the game's intro? And if so, would it be for more than just a final battle against Uru?

I would be interested in seeing something like a Skyrim type plane.

Or maybe a volcanic region plane (Non demonic).

Moscow, RF
Oldschool Deathworld, the Porn Edition. With the 'will of the plane' working towards assimilation/hybridization instead of extermination of non-native sentient races.

I don't want a particular type of world, but what I would like is different sized worlds. In the sense of the quest chains locate with in. I understand that there will be a number of large worlds, where at the end of the quest you [to avoid spoilers shall we say]  acquire euphemistic "Key Cards" enough cards and you can progress to the next act. I believe different levels are designed for different PC LvLs, so presumably they are unlocked in some order. What I would like is a smattering of let us say less core worlds dropped in, so any new player (not wedded to the wiki) won't know how far he/she is going down the rabbit hole each time.

P.S. I am hoping the Giant world allows size play

A filthy Frank world!

Or maybe something more serious like a Fuedal Japan world filled filled with grasslands, countrysides, and Oni. Maybe even a guy who wears sunglasses and surrounded by babes and calls himself "The Duke."

Motor City?

If they do end up doing elemental dimensions, I look forward to seeing the water one. Entering a world overflowing with light to beat down some angel stand-ins would also be fun.
