The only place i'd want to have that done anyway is the old forest, after everything is said and done there is only like 2 combat encounters, and Kuro and Hatsu will make sure you know there still out there between said fights lol.

I think you mean the Frostwood here, or at least I never ran into Kura (second-best fox) and Hatsu in the Old Forest.

Right now, the only "frequency of combat encounters" I find annoying, having recently farmed Frostwood for repeated Gytha encounters (don't ask) and made my first, clearing foray into Undermountain is OH GOD NOT THE IMPS AGAIN! Shankers healing themselves whenever they protect (and heavens forbid you don't take out the Lord in the first two rounds, tops) makes the fight take inordinately long and it really feels like half of the encounters is "imps". It's why I couldn't be arsed to farm for the super-duper bat yet.

• Byv seems to be incomplete, what with the "It feels like she's expecting something from you" or something to that effect at the end of the Angry Breed option, or am I just imagining things?

Well, if that is what would happen, and seeing that his first time (almost) showing up was like that, the good thing, if he got corrupted and turn into a demon, is that so far the only ones we could kill are demons. I'd like that.

Concerning Leofric, IIRC the most we'll get from him is a "stopping the unstoppable" type of situation. A fight where we manage to stop him to a standstill and he sorta says "Enough.".

I just find whole Leofric situation badly handled. And considering what is said here, many people agree with that sentiment. And lastly, it is not like I only have complains about Leofric or characters by Bubblelord. I have problems with Wsan, Savins, really everyone. But I still like the game, although it does not really show in my recent comments. But than again, we are repeating a lot of sentiment these last couple of months.

"After being defeated for at least 5 times there is a special one-time scene in which, Jen will break down and lament on why she is such a failure, however before she can continue a booming voice will shout her name and a near-etheral figure blocking out the sun/moon light will swiftly sucker punch that the Champion which will cause them to pass out. Oh, it's not even an auto-loss. Once you beat Jen a bunch of times, after the fight she starts moaning (not the good kind of moaning) about how much she sucks, and before you can comfort her or do literally anything Leofric suckerpunches you out of the blue without you even knowing he's there in the first place. It's the biggest "WTF just happened?" in the game, and I'm including Kiyoko's pregnancies in the Astral Plance getting turbo'd by fucking.

I can't make him cry like a baby, that'd probably get Jen pissed at me, and I'm trying to move things THE OTHER WAY.

That really bugged me too. She comes around and basically asks "Hey, are you the guys who have been beating up the idiotic bandits that have been running around here?" and I'm like... "Yes. Absolutely. It was me. These idiots attacked me and I kicked their asses."

And at first she sounds like she's going to be understanding about it. But then she goes all psycho and says "If you dare defend yourself against bandit rapists again, I'll beat you up myself!".

Realistically, given the lack of prisons in this world, a reasonable person would have executed her right then and there.

Jen's always struck me as more of a short sighted fangirl with too much pride instead of malicious like the rest of the mercs (barring Boomer, who apparently never watched one of those shitty after school specials on peer pressure and saying no). But her basically saying "Yeah I believe you that you were acting in self defense and my guys are assholes, but muh honor" kinda sucks. She's not too bad otherwise, to me at least. I'm hoping they don't get off completely at the end of their quest line though because they are one of the groups I have no sympathy for. Not gonna say much on Leofric himself to avoid potential arguments and because I want to try to reserve judgement until he's fully implemented, but I really don't want the respect of someone who needs hacks to accomplish stuff and that's all I'll say for now.

Agreed. Being "hungry" is a pretty shitty justification to attack people, especially when Kura stops attacking after three fights and apologizes and Hatsu never attacks us. Though mechanically speaking, they got some good moves to steal with mirror stance so that's nice at least.

That will in no way possibly bite them in the ass in the long run. Carmen herself has already shown she's willing to hire people to clean up threats after all. Besides, that group lost any sympathy the second they decided to violent and rapey. I do want to specify that I only have a problem with the generic encounter group and not all kitsune. Kura's had a lot of my essence and Hatsu would have even more if my soul were good enough for her why doesn't Hatsu want my soul please?

So instead they attack the heavily armed travelers and risk their image in the long run as well as finding peacefulish options such as setting up some feeding deal with drider queen, sparring with the perpetually horny hellhound who enjoys any side of victory sex, asking the sleepy snek who's already gonna sleep it off and would like fluffy warmth, or many other options in the frostwoods alone. Seems more like they crave risk more than they are avoiding it.

Also my pleas for Hatsu to please take my essence and love me is more of a joke since I like her character but she doesn't take my soul so it's like I'm not good enough for her.
