Make Syne the chubby futanari draconic milf gynoid from Phaedra into a crew member, cuz she's the only survivor of her ship that crash landed on Phaedra, plus cuz why not we already have Olympia and Gianna, so why not another, a third plump chubby gynoid on the ship.

So I know someone already brought up pronouns a couple months ago, and I know they/them pronouns would be a hassle to implement. (Although honestly I'd volunteer to do that myself if I had the time). But you know what would be significantly easier to code? It/its pronouns + any neopronouns that use the same grammatical structure as he/she. It would also be really funny to play a game where you can use neopronouns but not they/them.

Or let's not.

They/them would not be that hard to do using parsers and should be standard in the next Fenco game. It/its + neologisms probably not.

Huh. Why not?
A significant amount of effort for a tiny number of players. See also: why we're going to phase out the ability to become unsexed or a centaur moving forward.

I feel like adding a few extra pronouns on an existing framework can't be that hard, but maybe I just don't know how the code you're using works. Honestly, I probably wouldn't end up using anything other than they/them myself, so fair enough The taur thing actually makes me sadder tbh. I always thought the idea was really neat, although I only actually used it for one character.

The thing about taurs is that most writers don't account for it so it ends up creating these logical inconsistencies in quite a number of scenes. Having written a little for the game myself, it makes sense why that's the case. Tauric anatomy complicates and limits things, you have to get kind of creative when applying it to ideas you have and when you already have so much work to do you don't really want to make it any harder than it already is. Don't get me wrong, I love taurs too so it is unfortunate but understandable.

Oh yeah, for sure. I noticed it a lot when playing one myself, which is also why I only did it once :') Really cool concept, but hard to consistently implement.

Would it really be that much effort? Iirc pronouns are are a variable that gets checked periodically in scenes, so adding extra ones that don't require pluralisation would be very easy, unless I'm mistaken

I fail to see what benefit this would add to the game.

The thing is that it would require every writer, scene, and coder to account for each and every one that gets added. Then they would require the bug fixers to be familiar with which word goes where in case a typo or bug occurs that relates to them. Just think about how many times the player is referred to by anything except for their name in one or two scenes, including sir, ma'am, etc.

It's not on the level of taurs or amorphous goo body-types, but each one added is a rather titanic effort for such a huge text-based game.

Would it? Most things don't vary based on the pronoun variable to my knowledge, but based on your parts. Are there scenes with major differences for male dick havers and female dick havers? If not then I don't see how it would be difficult, but i could be wrong

Does this mean you're going to remove Leithans as a starting race and other 'taur transformations as options? Will Dr. Lash's services change too?

I think they just mean for future games and content like how coc2 has no taur transformations. No reason to remove existing content just not add on to it.
