When I think about it that wouldn't surprise me in the least, I'm honestly more surprised that this kind of thing doesn't already happen! Nothing like your ship getting boarded from the rear for you to then get boarded from the rear, with a knot for docking clamps...

What I would like to see more are emails.
I got multiple mails a day in the beginning, but after a month or so it basicly stoped and turned into something like a single mail a week (usually related to some quests). Would be nice if there were more of them - like friends/lovers asking you how you are doing or writing random stuff, other funny mails (like the ones from Celise), our rival boasting about their latest scheme or even some kind of galactic newsletter that tells you a bit more about the universe.


Could be a nice way to flesh out the world more without having to add quests or lots of dialouge.

i think there should be like a relaxation option for in your ship. as you are sitting around, a random crewmate comes up and spends a little time with you.

that, and i especially want there to be a group one(perhaps its just as random that you get a group one, or you can choose between a random group or a random singular encounter). for example you watch or join anno as she leads an ausar metal fueled group exercise with some crewmates, or you sit down and have a movie night with your babes (call back to "The Flare" with the uveto chicks), or maybe playing some multiplayer games. just a thought though, as if i ever decide to commit to writing TITS content i have other plans first.

I just want more things that transform over time, like the Horse Pill and goblin granola. (I even like Furpies for this reason.) Basically, I'd like to be able to buy one item and get multiple Gryvain (or whatever) aspects changed. For the ones that can't be bought: maybe a vendor where you can exchange 10 of a food to get a many-changes-over-24-hours version?

Meanwhile I'd like more of the reverse, instant changes that let you know exactly what you're gonna get the instant you take it. Why? Because its a hell of lot easier to save scum if you don't also have to wait for an effect to occur, since with the 24 (or more) hour tf's there is usually 2-3 batches of potential changes, it's very difficult to navigate your way past all possible transformations to nail just the ones you want. Gods the Laquine Ears were an utter bitch to use due to that change over time mechanic. Once you get into making a body that takes in parts from a bunch of mods, even one errant transformation can fuck up a lot of work instantly.

I mean there's nothing stopping the game from having both types of transformatives, I'd just rather not be stuck with those types over the now-and-done types.

Laquine ears aren't super bad imo. Barely any transformations and readily accessible from the start of the game so you can just get all your stat boosts and be done with it.

I'd prefer less need to savescum, like accurate flipping mods. Even if I had to pay more for them it'd be amazing. I understand on the items that only transform you because of your nanobots though, it makes sense.

I know, but by the time they were added to the game I was already too deep (200+ days) into a run and its hard to keep a Gryvain/Vanae/Demon hybrid in balance without accidentally knocking out one of its pieces. That then requires more mods which might unbalance even more things, the hard life of not using a save editor.

Part of the reason I've avoided the treatment for example is the half-week wait which could leave you with any of four different paths of transformation. I know they added cheats to get which specific branch you want, but the smaller details are harder to manage than its worth bothering for.

Guess I was too spoiled by CoC and its one shot tfs that instantly do what you want them to do, heck I'd probably enjoy those long-form tfs if I cared to stick with a non-hybrid build, but that's not the life for me.

Solution, make a bunch of TFs have standard and plus variants like Ovir/Ovir Ace and the ilk. Also have a specialist (both Sera or that Dr. in the ice planet should work) offer to apply a specific transformation from any item you give them for a completely ridiculous amount of credits for their specialised work.

Of course, this makes the new problem of needing someone to write all that, and therefore needing money. If I wasn't completely broke, I'd be inspired to spend on this.

Codex literally calls 'em dinos, though. "Hot-blooded dinosaurs from outer space."

Side note: for lizards, I find it super odd that they have the most extreme examples of sexual dimorphism currently in game. Remember that short lived "I will now buy your game" meme? They feel like they were made for the sole purpose of giving the guy behind that the middle finger.

Not so much content as a QoL addition, but i really want a quicksave feature similar to that of CoC (possibly added by the modded versions). F1 to save to slot 1, F2 to slot 2, etc. Right now theres no convenient way to save using the keyboard, which annoys me more than i wouldve expected.

This is just me being cynical because of that one recent thread. I don't personally want this (I don't really care either way), but how about adding a thread that only the moderators can write in saying what they are working on for the game. That way, it'll reduce the amount of bitching about them not working on the game. Guys (and gals), they're churning out content on a regular basis. Unless they have a massive amount of content already coded and are just giving it to us in chunks so they can rest on their laurels, they are actually working on the game. Read the text after the change log in the release, they often say what they'll be doing next.

I agree that a life sign of the main developers would be cool. Like, is Gedan still working on the ship expansion? It was what... April when he wrote he got the main parts done? I am just wondering if he is fine or did he go mad, needs a hug, chocolate and some time out.

Fen is vary active on discord and is showing plenty of signs of life, and is working actively on Azra. Gedan is pretty much incommunicado until she has a somewhat functional ship expansion to show and tell. Savin is probably off doing savin things, including antquest, and is also somewhat active on discord, so no lack of life signs.

Has it occurred to you that you're looking for life signs in the wrong places?
