Okay, so we've got an entire perk dedicated to Bows and three really shitty bows to use it with. What's up with that? We need more bows, and the best place to start with this would be Myrellion. Emmy offers you three melee weapons and three ranged weapons after you complete her quest.
Melee: E.'s Jolthammer, E.'s Lava Sword, E.'s Vampire Sword
Ranged: E.'s Salamander Pistol, E.'s Salamander Rifle, E.'s Best Salamander Rifle
E.'s Salamander Rifle and Best Salamander Rifle? What's up with that? Why would you bother trying to get the Salamander Rifle when you can shoot for the Best Salamander Rifle? The best way to resolve that would be by replacing E.'s Best Salamander Rifle with a different weapon: E.'s Salamander Bow. In order to differentiate itself from the other weapons, the weapon could forgo the boost to Critical seen by Pistols and Accuracy seen by Rifles for a raw boost to Kinetic Damage— the shaft of the bow that keeps the plasma arrow tip concentrated together. The combination of this bow and the bonus perk could even carry this to mid-Uveto, giving creators more time to expand on bows.
Secondly, we should get some more customization for the Nova Goo Armor. I'm not talking about the revealing parts we've all been waiting for since the concept was announced, I'm talking about color, and here's how it would go:
The trigger would be walking into the ship and talking to Nova while carrying ten of any color Goo ball. It would be similar to the way she gains the healing ability: entranced by the Goo, she would eat them in one sitting, and as the Goo dissolved inside of her, she would change color. Talking to her with another color goo ball apart from her current color would pique her curiosity, and she'd ask to try something with it. Accepting her request would mean giving her the ball, and when she consumes it, she directs the coloring into more focused areas, unlocking the ability to choose both a Primary AND a Secondary Color armor. Not only would this be another reason to use Nova (as if we didn't have enough!), it would give use to a series of items very rarely used by players not making any sort of Goo build.
