Quick question: Was there anything planned to make the classes/jobs more relevant or are they just for combat skills and flavor? I mean, I'm all for my super-nerdy Steeles but I keep remembering Anno's quest on Novahome where it tells me (in a sense) that I'm too technically inept to fiddle with the robots on Deck 13 and it bugs me. If I'm a bookworm Intelligence major tech specialist, I somehow expect a little more expertise than what's required to fix a centaur's broken vibrator.

Here's the thing, Captain Steele at the beginning the story is maybe 18/19, an adult yes but at the same time, they've only just become one. They might have the basics of training, but they don't have the experience to go with it (yet). Yeah, Steele might be able to hack a door or something they are familiar with, but we're talking about equipment that could be hundreds of years old. Its like asking a kid that is used to Windows 10 to use one of those old computers that used to be the size of the room and used punchcards. Yeah, they can potentially do it, but they really need to learn first.

Should I just keep my opinions and ideas to myself?

Look, there's no such thing as a stupid idea or anything like that, but maybe take the time to develop an idea. If a thought or an idea occurs to you, take a minute to that about it; ask yourself if it is feasible, what is involved and what might be needed to go through with it, is it going to infringe on some sort of copyright?

Just take the time to think.

In a nutshell it's pretty much a case of 'booksmarts' vs. 'streetsmarts'.
I mean, I and probably pretty much everyone else here learned shit from the books and whatnot when I went to public/private school too, but that doesn't mean I should know how to do it on the field itself just because of that.

Kinda why as you gain levels ingame you gain more skills and abilities, getting experience and whatnot in your job by going out and using the skills you gain in combat a.k.a the field, rather than starting off with every ability from the getgo. (And besides where be the fun in just starting off with everything from the getgo? Nah bitch, you're starting from scratch, learn and earn that shit. :U)

Yes, but those skills mainly relate to combat, not out of combat applications, which is what I'm getting at. Depending on your Steele's chosen path (in my case, a full-on nerd with little interest in non-nerdy stuff) I'd have thought the knowledge to stack up the more you specialize. And somehow, I doubt that Steele's education was theory only.

I'm not saying I want to start off with everything from the getgo, I simply wish that a consciously focused choice had a tad more weight to it. Even if it's just "Huh, this is way over my head, but that roboticist I studied under might know how to solve this." Could be that it's just my personal gripe with feeling like an idiot next to NPCs written as tech-savvy.

So what you're saying is that you want your cake and to eat it too?

But if you want to justify Steele being limited in certain actions during the story, say for example, hacking locks, consider this. Steele is the heir of a business magnate, owner of several companies and diverse interests. Whatever the training, it was more than likely done using SteeleTech equipment or through SteeleTech affiliates. So while a Tech minded Steele might have the knowledge to hack a lock, they might only be able to do it with locks produced by Steele. Or to put it another way, would you want the child of an Apple executive using a Microsoft computer?

If you feel that Steele might be an idiot compared to others, consider this, they really are an idiot. They're an idiot because they should be in college or university, or completing their training, not traipsing about unknown space to collect their inheritance. They have to earn the prize and learn a few lessons along the way. One of those lessons should be "choices cost me". Every choice has consequences and rewards. Can't hack a lock as a mercenary? That's okay, you can fire a tank cannon later (Oh how I love that).

Steele is still fairly young, they have a lot to learn and that takes time.

1) Yes. Cake is delicious.

2) Relatives suck. Except for Shade. No, wait....

We're overdue for a federation gold myr. It would put an interesting spin to hear the testimony of someone who changed sides.

There's the red and gold myr couple running a survival shop out in Kressia. Though a full blown turncoat would be interesting, especially to hear their reasoning for swapping sides.

What we really need is some more indication on what happens to reds captured by the golds. Or really any other species native to Myrellion interacting with the golds.

Lieve was in one of their concentration camps for a while I believe.

"I ended up in a prisoner camp. Golds don't believe in trench wives, see -- they just shove their P.O.W.s into camps with barely enough food and clothes, maybe some tents or shacks if you're lucky. They herded us around like hysean slugs, staring down from watch towers full of machine guns and floodlights. It was cold, cramped, and full of sickness. If that wasn't bad enough, Republic Intelligence would make the rounds every few days. Us officers would get dragged off, one after the other, to answer questions."

Lieve shivers involuntarily, and you find yourself holding her a little closer as a result. "Let's just say the camp commander was very fond of whips. She had a whole collection she'd parade you through before..."

You get the picture.

"I AM FABULOUS, AND ALL SHALL WITNESS IT!" *Splays open peacock tail*

Huh, maybe a literal pea-cock tail too? LIke a tail made out of a million sparkly cocks
Or would that be too weird, even for this game?

Almost nothing it's too weird. But this would be a nightmare to implement. Also a pea-cock tail imply that all the cocks on it would look like pea pods.

A cock tail would be a semen-based drink served with a phallic-shaped shrimp in an equally cock-shaped glass. I have the feeling that someone will make this a thing sooner or later.

I'm *very* tempted to write this now... It would just be a tiny snippet of code to be plopped into a bar here and htere, no doubt

or a tf that gives fur spots/stripes/other fur patterns
Been there, got removed from a few TFs by now.
Pickmentation and Pupper Poppers were meant to give fur patterns, and yet upon implementation the fur/skin pattern effects to them got neutered out of the TFs entirely.

Not sure if it's already in game, but some kind of wolf tf item would be nice. I know we have Ausar tf items, but I don't think we have wolf tfs

We do have a werewolf tf, Lupinol, I think that combined with a few other canine tfs could probably get you to as close as pure wolf as you can get in this game.

I believe Lupinol would be right up your alley.

Darn it, ninja'ed!

Not gonna happen. Body markings code was screwed from the beginning (Vinae Markings), so fur patterns are never going to be a thing until someone rebuilds that system.

As previously mentioned, Lupinol is the official wolf transformative. However there is also a canine tranformative, canine poppers and pupper poppers, that are higher quality and offer greater detail. I recommend mixing/matching these two. Also note that you can get plantigrade canine feet from Ausar treats if you prefer that.

What content I would like added? Not going to surprise anybody familiar with my posts. I've got a one track mind, and say pretty much the same thing repeatedly. The game lacks teeth. It needs less "screw your custom waifu" and more "there are consequences for having sex with this self-directed and self-interested creature".

Coc was not a perfect game by any stretch, and TiTs is superior in almost every way, but the former had teeth built in with the corruption mechanic. Having lots of sex with the wrong creatures changed a core stat that altered just about every scene and had in-game consequences by barring some paths and unlocking others.

TiT's doesn't have that. What's the gameplay difference between PC steele performing the same sex acts on Kiro vs Siri? None, there's no real difference or change on the gameplay to recon with. This isn't necessarily a bad thing mind you, and there's a perfectly reasonable counter to this as a complaint. For roleplay alone, there's something to be said for having options between partners that a variation of Steele would be attracted to. Roleplay is a good reason to justify the amount of sexable npc's with similar sex options and no strings attached.

At a certain point though, clicking the same button that says "Get Blowjob" across NPC's only changes the verbiage used and the author tag, and something is lost. For me anyway. I'm all for more consequences, negative perks, and bad-ends. It's also worth noting that Fen (somewhere) has mentioned that TiTs is supposed to be a less sinister experience, so that's something to acknowledge and live with.

Not claiming that this is the only way to go. I'm sure that a lot of itches are scratched for a lot of different people with the game as it is and there's not a thing wrong with that. This is just my 2 cents.
