I want party banter! In the middle of quests, give us conversations between the two party members we brought. The conversations shouldn't involve us. Just develop the relationship between our party members, but also it could be opportunities to flesh out each party member with inconsequential details like hobbies or whatever.
Also, I'd like more variety among equipment sets for companions. Atugia for instance just has tank sets. I want different niches for these characters so I have a mechanically functional team but also have companions I like in my party. Pyromancer Brienne is a good example. She remains hardy despite being a caster, which allows her to keep her identity as a character but adopt a different team niche than tank.
Speaking of which, its time to upgrade movesets. Brint/Brienne could train with Isadora to upgrade his/her moves. For example, Cleave upgrades to Whirlwind. Or move upgrades could be automatic based on level. For example, as soon as Brint/Brienne hits 8, Cleave upgrades to Whirlwind.
