It's basically how marsupial nipples work. The newborn babies latch on and the nipple swells in their pseudo-mouths to help them stay in the pouch. They physically cannot let go of the nipple until their mouths finish developing.

I feel this way too when I see her. As a manticore, they are notoriously infertile, so I would love to have my Champ knock her up (or vice versa to a lesser extent). Just to show I could do it, same with the manticore girl in Foothills (which you can do for her as a Bad End).

For the character, I am a little conflicted, since her goal is to go out and become someone, to make a name for herself, to prove that she's worthy and good enough (despite her deformity). She is training to be a warrior and adventurer and head south... I would feel like I was stymieing someone's dream to suddenly give them a kid (obviously you could just pawn it off on her mom or Gwyn), but still.
