Oh I like her.
My point is just that while Ryn dates can make the city feel more alive, they are not the best substitute for more towns folk or independent events (like the Winter City ball).
a) They are locked behind you finding Ryn sexually and romantically attractive.
b) they are at odds with people that want to keep their Ryn at low confidence since they raise it.
Like, Serena is not just her teacher date for example. She is established character with her own history, wants and needs on top of having a pretty fleshed out event. And as a character she is found in a bar that has its fleshed out atmosphere and owner. In a city that has many tiny events and NPCs. So even if I do not fancy her, which I do not as of now, I can still learn things about her and her city.
Basically, I just would like if winter city had just slightly more to it. Maybe 2/3 more NPCs, preferebly of everyman variety. Since all current 4 possible WC residents, all of them are some kind of Nobility or close to it. I would be kind of interested in how your average Joe lives through their everyday life. Their thoughts and opinions on current set of circumstances. The sudden change of authority would be quiet a shock, I would take it. Also, maybe some small events that you can access through explore button.

Funny thing is, I was not RPing as being romantically interested in her. It was actually rather a surprise to me when Ryn started acting that way towards me. I just did all that confidence-raising stuff because it seemed the right thing do to, as I liked to be nice towards my party members since they're sticking their neck out for me.
To be fair, she's not the only non-sexable NPC in town. I think the devs had a reason for not making everyone sexable but damned if I can remember it now.
It's, If I remember right, to give you one more reason to leave Hawkethorne.

If "I feel bad for balak" or "that's too much work" are going to become ever more commonplace it'd be nice to hire more staff, or reduce the scale of content ahead of time instead of adding more npcs or zones that become abandoned or "too much work" unless volunteers write. Some characters are changed drastically like etheryn, left in a corner like shar, zones like the centaur village are one npc with one paragraph, while characters like cait are prioritized and get more and more content each patch regardless of how mixed her reception is. It'd also be nice to have more of a consistent tone when using "it's a smut game" as a shield then also continuously having dark content, 12+ paragraph ace attorney debates, characters having mental breakdowns, teens being slaughtered, your children almost being burnt alive, raped and eyes gouged out etc

Stuff gets written as the full-time staff has the time and interest, or as community writers contribute. One of the things the content submission policies (stated or unstated) have done is to try to ensure that what gets into the game from community writers has enough content that if for some reason they don't write anything further, the character still feels sufficiently complete. Take strawberry_tea's characters for example. It would have been awesome if they had more content (and someone could still pick them up if they wanted) but Clementine and Valencia have enough to them that they don't feel like dead ends as they were left. This doesn't always work out, but it seems to have done a generally good job cutting down on the one-trick characters.
Also, based on what's been said several of the zones that appear 'abandoned' had non-staff writers who were supposed to contribute more and then ghosted, or they have plans for more content and it just hasn't been a priority. Until the game is done, we can't really say what is or isn't going to be left hanging content-wise. For example, we know Tychris is coming but the time hasn't arrived yet and Carmen's planned content is back-burnered but not abandoned.
The fact that community writers can contribute is, I think, one of the big strengths of the game. Consider for example how much more of a sense we have for the Winter City due to Alypia writing all of those Ryn dates, And personally, I'd rather the devs write all the content they want to and fill in cracks later than either force themselves to write a zone to completion if they're not feeling it (or if there are behind the scenes reasons not to) or to hold back on things they do want to work on in order to 'balance out' the zones.

That was partially because Savin didn't think three companions was hubris enough at the start and started planning her as a fourth, before realizing that really wasn't going to work. We know there are plans for her but they're not at the top of the priority list.

Savin reaching into his vault of infinite money to hire one of the many qualified and reliable professionals clamouring to work towards the development of an online porn game. Also, what Wolfram said about this being version 0.5.8 of a game still in development.

And people don't want their waifus to get the kind of content Cait gets. Somehow I don't think people really want Kiyoko joining champ to suck every dick in Khor'minos.
But the biggest part of this is that the game is still in development. Up until like a year ago, it would have been easy to say that the quest to find Cait's father had been 'abandoned' because it was on the backburner for a while. Stuff keeps getting added, old zones keep getting backfilled, even Quin just got some new stuff and apparently has more stuff submitted and awaiting review.
I'm sorry nobody liked your attempt to submit content. Though really the complaints were more "this is only two pages," "this is completely unparsed," "you really do need to write sex scenes to submit content for the game," and "this is endgame content you can't submit endgame content."
a way to turn of quinn's holiday event with out turning off all the other ones.. i mean seriously like every 3rd day its happening and i get knocked up cuase i cant bring myself to say no and i dont like quinn i am just a nice person (in game my character does not like to make friends sad)

Looking at it, the Holiday Hussy event can trigger every seven days if you have holiday events set to On or it's around Christmas, and if you've fucked Quin. So if the event is coming up then for whatever reason the QUINTILLUS_FUCKED flag is set on your save.
