What are your gripes/criticism of TiTs?

They are trans because they transitioned, if they did not transition they are not trans.
Correct!

The terms "herms" and "futas" does also apply to men and masculine characters
I have looked for herm smut on the interwebs since 2006 and I have never, ever found male contents tagged as "futa". I have always seen male herms deemed as "Male Herms".

Yeah, a lot of people feel like the term only applies to women, but that's not really true, it's just way less common. Like these games, I think I've seen 3 men with vaginas, and only 1 also has a dick? Memory may be fuzzy.

But I personally get agitated when porn where the girl only has a penis gets tagged as "futa", because it's just inaccurate.

Alex, the maleherm on tavros, recently had an xpac approved (written by bubblelord), so hopefully he should more memorable

It's so uncommon I have never seen it.

Yoma and Gil are cuntboys and Alex is a male herm. By the way, who had the wonderful idea of having two characters with the same name around the same place?

You and me both.

ppl forget how important the verbal distinctions really are
because that's how people find what they want, you don't want your traps to get confused with femboys lol because some may like one and not the other, although that paticular distinction is so little no one cares

There's three guys named Tom on a street not very far away from me. Their houses are side by side. It isn't THAT unlikely.

Also, Alex at the beach resort has no sex scenes or bust atm. Though Slab did change his Amber to Kimber for variation...

I'm not talking about real life. For the sake of helping the player, having characters with similar or the same name isn't a good idea. Yet, somehow, we have Ardia, Artie, Astra, Atha, Azra, Brandt, Brandy, Ellie, Ellira, Embry, Emmy, Estie, Estallia, Ilaria, Irellia, Jardi, Jarvis, Jerome, Jerynn, Johr, Juro, Kally, Kelly, Millie, Milly, Mirian, Mirri, Mitzi, Myrna, Myrra, Petr, Petra, Pippa, Roo, Roz, Sellera, Sellesy, Shelly, Stella, Ula, Una, Vaande, Valden, Vahn, Vark, Yammi, Yoma...

This reminds me of that The Simpsons scene in which Cletus calls his children :p

One thing I learned in creative writing class was that you don't want a lot of characters who have the same first letter of their name, and if you do you want the number of syllables to be different

I try to have a mix of all, because if left to my own devices as an amateur writer I'd have everyone's name be a single syllable simple name and all families would all have the same first letter in their name because HS me used to do that and thought it was so sophisticated.

"Man, this guy is really making some sense, I agree with his--"

Man, I almost was in full agreement, and then you had to add that shit to the end. I can only imagine you weren't aware of the real-life implications of what you just said, so I'll let that slide this time, but if you *were*, in fact, aware that your statement could be taken to mean "trans women ≠ real women" and decided to say so anyways, then I suggest you keep that opinion to yourself.

Yeah I was afraid this was how things might be interpreted, and that wasn't what I was going for. I guess it just is irritating when I'm cruising for some pussy, but it seems like there is barely a single cis-female in sight.

Cis-female? The first one that jumps to mind is Ramis. I'm having trouble thinking of another. Fair amount of bisexual females that don't sling dicks. Not sure if there are any lesbians. Hm.

To be fair, there aren't a lot of TiTS characters in general with strong gender preferences, outside of Extrameet. Ramis (must be male), Busky (Must be male), and Prai (prefers masculine males) are the only ones I've found.

...Also, I just looked up what "cis-female" means. There are approximately ~130 fully female sexable characters in tits - almost half of the overall total, looking at the Wiki. Unless you're looking on Canadia Station, they shouldn't be hard to find...

Well it has been brought up many times that in a world like TiTs they would interpret gender way differently than we do. Since changing genders (and the rest of your body) is as easy as taking a shot or drinking a bottle of something they probably wouldn't even call changing genders transitioning. They wouldn't be considered trans in their world it'd just be... normal.

I'd say that it's more a matter of changing sex than changing gender. But yeah, TiTSverse has a larger scope of what these concepts are when growing extra bits or changing yours is "just" some credits away (unless you're a simii).

I think it's worth noting how incredibly expensive most TFs are, though. Especially the ones that aren't either illegal and don't have nasty side-effects. As a result, there likely is a "transitioning" state for many of those who undergo such treatments while they undergo things in increments, or they just go into massive debt (and we've all seen how that goes in TiTS)

As a counterpoint, ive tried to establish that disregarding any racial complications, straight sex changing is easy and cheap in titsverse

If you're getting annoyed at porn tag or mad about it, you should seek professional help, shit's not right if your getting mad at a tag when you're suppose to be beating your meat.

I'm not entirely sure what the average wages are for TiTSverse citizens, especially on Core Worlds, nor do I know if Sera's shop is a good indicator of the average pricing of certain cosmetics...but looking at the base prices of ManUp, estrobloom, and Tittyblossom (all of which usually require multiple doses to have their full intended effect, often 6 or more , mind you. And that's assuming Steele's advanced nanomachines aren't making them more effective than they would be normally), and comparing them to the food prices at in-game establishments...I wouldn't be surprised if sex changes still required a lot of effort, planning, and budgeting for those who aren't super-rich, much like sex changes are now. It might still be cheaper and more effective than they are now, though.

I thought about this a while ago with regards to Aina and her own transformation. She said it took her about two years of working in a fast food restaurant to save up enough money to complete her transformation. I think I worked it out that she was earning somewhere between 8 to 10 credits an hour.

The exorbitant price for most items makes sense, due to the fact that they are luxury items.

Don't try and work out the economics of the TiTSverse. It runs entirely on RPG logic and writer whimsy.

I had a feeling. Not that I could do so even if I tried, there's simply not enough data to work with. Moving along...

Yeah but then how do they deal with transformatives that are culturally important (like on New Texas and the planet below Canadia Station) and beneficial transformatives for hazardous jobs? Government subsidies?

Plenty of super expensive medicines and treatments are ridiculously cheap to make compared to the thousands of dollars the manufacturers charge for them.

There is a major difference between necessity and luxury. On a planet like Vesperia, with its vast plains and craggy mountains, then a tauric modification is a necessity amongst the population. That necessity doesn't exist on a place like Tavros Station and so the item becomes a luxury one. There's also life choice consideration - on Vesperia, the major of travel, furniture and so on is designed with the tauric body in mind and the fact that majority of the population is a taur of some kind. There will be some sort of incentive or government scheme to cater for the population with that in mind. Whereas off Vesperia, its significantly more awkward to have a tauric body. You're going from a necessity on one planet to a luxury everywhere else.

Be real here, things are expensive because companies can get away with charging that much. Nothing else matters except for how much they can gouge you for it.

I bet all the workers and inventors and such get paid barely anything while the business people who do practically nothing get millions.

Also true.

I wouldn't be surprised if several of the more unscrupulous corporations operated company scrip. Why give your employees proper money when you can give them your very own monopoly money.

And don't forget some the lovely practices of Snuggle. Foster a bunch of orphans, then CHARGE them for the cost of their upbringing. Straight from Ramis' mouth.
