We talked about what we were going to do after getting out of Dhaal safely. None of us wanted to work for someone else, and a couple of my boys already knew how to cook and behave, so after talking to a friend of mine he suggested that I could start a diner. At first, I wasn’t too convinced, but that same friend originally owned this place, and gave me a good deal on it. He’d shut it down a while back and hadn’t gotten a chance to sell it yet, so he was more than happy to get it off his back.”
“How do you like the new job?” You ask
“I mean, I do miss the mercenary gigs. But I do like this line of work. Safe work. Ultimately, though, I care about getting to stick with my boys,” she finishes with a smile.
