the knife bites into his scaly skin and he grunts in pain. however, the knife doesn't go in quite as far as Jade would think it should.... it was lodged into him only a little bit! somehow his scales were stronger then they looked...
Sammy launched into a swipe of her own and swiped at his other side with her sword! It hit as well but the blade only make a thin cut on his side and ripped a bit of his robe. The Snake man hissed in in pain but, he didn't seem any worse for the wear! "What?!", Sammy gasped surprised by their opponents resilience. "Heh! Iron scale potion.... makes my scales laugh at bladed weapons!", he said with a wicked grin. Just then his tail lashed out and whipped at the both of them!

Sammy is similarly knocked off her feet and lands with an "oof!". She quickly rolls and gets back to her feet along with Jade. "Right!", Sammy agreed. Jade had taken the words right out of her mouth. "I'm not about to let a couple of idiot girls ruin the sweet gig I have going here! I worked way to hard for this!", he hissed at them. "I'll have to turn you both over to those weirdos you know far to much now!", he said as he coiled himself up for another attack. "Jade he's coming for us again. what if we both break in opposite directions?", she whispered hurriedly.

"Yeah... I go right, you go left." She says, waiting for him to attack and then throwing herself into a roll, to the right and below his attack. If she isn't the one he goes for, she get behind and tries to smash the blunt pommel of her knife into his head.

"Ok, break!", she shouted as the slithering arrogant douche made his move. He shot forward aiming for Sammy, perhaps because she was the bigger target. Sammy jumped to the right as Jade went left, his fanged mouth only just barley missing her. Jade's gamble that he'd go for Sammy worked out and she ended up behind him. just when he was wondering where the herm doggy girl had gone he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head! Jade had beaned him good and he staggered froward with a cry of pain. Sammy saw her shot, so she felt a follow up was in order. Then she tried a technique she had drilled in her time as a squire. She grabbed her sword by the blade and flipped it and then bashed the snake in the side of the head, hitting him with the hilt and pammel! Half-swording her teacher called it.
The snake then fell to the ground dazed and the world spinning. He withdrew back on instinct his head throbbing in pain."Ha! We can still bash you over the head!", Sammy shouted. He groaned as he held his head. his other hand reached back onto his desk grabbing a potion.

It flies out of his hand and then the vial breaks against the nearby wall. the liquid inside quickly turns right into a gas once it makes contact with the air, A strange blue cloud appears from the broken glass. The fake priest covers his mouth and tries to slither to the back of the room. as the gas begins to float Jades way as if it had a mind of its own! "What in the?!", Sammy said as she eyed cloud wondering how the hell that was happening.

Jade coughs as she begins to be covered by the gas. "I don't... know..." She hacks inside the gas-cloud.
Jade starts to feel very hot and aroused while at the same time feeling sleepy. The cloud seems to target her trying to stay on her. Her skin flushes with red and she can feel herself getting more.... complacent.... Sammy afraid of what the cloud might be doing to her grabs her by the arm and yanks her out of the cloud. "Jade get out there!", she said her worry apparent. At the same time the snake pulled a lever nearby and disappeared through a hole in the ground, probably some kind of trap door. The cloud follows towards Sammy and Jade but dissipates quickly before it can reach them. "Jade?! Jade are you ok?!", Sammy asked turning Jade to face her.
