[Did I get you with the chicken? Did I? Did iiiii!?]
Khorvis raises his eyebrows, but doesn't even flinch when the Fury shrieks at him. His reaction seems to confuse the Fury, who shuts her mouth and clicks her beak a few times, tilting her head in confusion. She was probably wondering why he wasn't running away...
Without a word, Khorvis drops his sword staff and drops to his hands and knees before transforming into his Direwolf form. This seems to confuse the Fury even more, the bird woman looking between him and his staff, clicking her beak faster now.
But the confusion doesn't last long. With another loud shriek, she leaps at Khorvis, and the battle begins!
With a roar, he rears up on his hand legs and takes a swipe at the incoming bird woman, and misses by an inch, his claws sailing harmlessly over her head as the woman rakes her claws down his shoulder and back.
With a yelp of pain, Khorvis jumps back, fresh blood already leaking from the wound. The Fury takes off into the air before diving at him again, trying to rake her talons across his face.
The manoeuvre doesn't succeed, Khorvis jumping back and taking another swipe at the bird woman.
She manages to take the brunt of it with her wings, but it still sends her flying a fair distance away, shrieking in pain.
Khorvis doesn't let up, bounding after the chicken like an actual dog, his teeth bared. They get into a grapple, the Fury's claws and talons against Khorvis' teeth and claws.
This time, Khorvis' size proves to be a disadvantage, as the Fury is easily able to scratch his belly and chest deeply, the talons reaching him easily.
He howls with pain, but doesn't let up, nipping at the woman's wings and trying to pin the wriggly bird down.
Somehow, he manages to get his paws under her wings and push her down onto the floor, pinning her down with one large claw on her jugular.
The fight is over, but not without its price. Khorvis is badly wounded, and the red stones are now wet with his blood. The cuts are already healing up, but... It's definitely going to leave a mark.
The Fury doesn't give up though, continuing to shriek and struggle.
