imo if we can make multiple character dialogue work in TiTS with one font colour, you can make multiple character dialogue work on a forum with one colour.

I'd go the movie script route, it does wonders if you format it correctly.

 - Me: "Why so serious?"

Turns towards Gedan and slaps him across the face.

 - Gedan: "Asshat"

Celise jumps in and smothers the two in a large blob of her massive mammeries!

 - Celise: "Let's not fight, let's make goo!"

I'm also curious if you'll be bringing back the "Signature" feature from the old site? I still miss the gifs and pics i usually see on people's profiles, doesn't feel the same without them.

Honestly, like 50/50 on it because I don't really see a need for it. Personally, I had them hidden for display in the old forum because I don't really care what you're putting in there. imo they're only really useful for poster-identification purposes... but there's already this fantastic username/avatar combo just to the left of the post anyway, so it just winds up being a constant waste of space for no gain.

You're right, I could see how pointless they would be when it comes to optimization and purpose. I was thinking it was a nice touch for personalization of one's profile, I have some attachments I kinda grew attached to and each person's signature was unique in a way. But that's me getting sentimental, you're the programmer so do whatever. I just like to have inspiring or deep quotes from philosophers, as they say: "we learn something new every day".

How about just adding some sort of About Me box in profiles where you can put all that for everyone to see?

We could use more customization over our Profile Settings, it'd be like our little Youtube Beta channels. Like Fen's TiTS backdrop as the background pic, a link at the bottom of the center space with an introductory video or some kind of update tab. I'll admit, the spacing for my profile backdrop is small compared to what i normally use. I had a really nice Scanty and Kneesock Demon pic I wanted to paste.

But... why would anybody care about any of that? It's "I want things for the sake of having them". This isn't Facebook, if you wanna snowflake it up go post on tumblr or something.

About me shit maybe, for active writers or something. Maybe.

Depending on how much you care about other content creators and whatnot, they might want to add convenient links to their blogs or other works, youtube and whatever. Mostly just for people to promote themselves without taking it to any threads.

I'm certain some artists wouldn't mind it.

Once again its the fact that these were features we had on the last forum so not having them now is an active loss. I mean idealistically we'd have MORE features on the "new" forum going on narrative logic.

Once again its not just about me turning features off but half the fact that I'm actively trying to fix things that are broken, than I'm currently hiding by disabling things. (See; there were like, zero profile limits by default, the theme didn't change half of the shit in there = it was disabled until I cleaned up stuff enough that I wouldn't then have to go around cleaning up profiles after the fact too).

I never meant to hide I had previously pitched one, I thought I made it obvious I was saying "I changed this because I read Gedan's latest post and it made my post seem in bad taste."

No way to save drafts that I can see. Not sure how fixable either one is.

Gotta get used to the new quote layout. Wish it displayed like the old style when typing.

I have Penny and naleen fixes ready, but I'm holding off considering the amount of work needed on the site.

I hated the quoting system we had, the BBCodes required bracketing the qoutes, here, it simplified and there isn't a line of parser distracting me when replying or posting. Hit "Quote" add your response, done!

Seems like half the people with creations to their name had signatures with links to what they were proud of. I for one enjoyed see them, while I probably wouldn't have checked the profiles of everyone I came across just to see if there was something there. It's fine to prioritize what features to (re)implement, and very desirable to give people the option to opt out of seeing signatures, but I really hope signatures come back. I don't think I'm alone in this.

When I was editing lines,it was always easy to highlight the section in question, hit the quote button, and just have it simply wrapped. It's visually jarring right now to have it shove the text by a bar. It was just simpler for me with plain text code, and it didn't accidently break if I had to delete things or add line breaks.

Different strokes for different folks, i suppose.

Is there a way to preview posts that I have not noticed? If not can we get one?

No, they're still finding out the small improvements as we go along. Gedan suggests you be diligent when posting your comments and posting while he figures out other matters.

I just want to make clear that I wouldn't want to see signatures below every post myself. I also do agree with everyone having font colors available being annoying, especially when people make it deliberately unreadable. I'm mostly just thinking what methods are most convenient yet least abusive with the suggestions I had earlier.

could it be made so you can post in color only in the RP forums?

Well, the reason why colour options would be a big help in our RP for me would be that I have a character who can split into seven elemental aspects which I previously managed in conversations by giving each aspect a colour that goes with the respective element.

Yes, it's not impossible to do without colours, but it would be a handy tool to add more clarity to the posts and avoid confusion.

You can also use pliers to loosen a nut, but a wrench undeniabl works better with less chance of mishaps.

Maybe it would be possible to enable colours for the RP section only so you don't have to deal with it here?

If you really don't want it, then there's nothing I can do, but it would be something we'd really appreciate.

Ohh still sleepy to notice reply on signature. Hmm 50/50 and waste of time. Well I always liked some people signatures and just see them under post was enough for me to stop be gloomy. Well seems now I will be more gloomy on this forum...whatever :D
