Zwarr had decided to go along with what Ishtar wanted, his plan shifting to wearing her out before he took her out. But then he saw Dirk enter and leave, silently cursing internally about how Dirk just 'cock blocked' him. He pretended to be a 'Good Boy' still and looked to her, "...Was that not one of your Good Boys, Mistress? Do you wish me to get him?" He said droning like he was still under the spell.

Valira let out a grunt as she fell on top of Akalfa, proud of her for killing the creature, relieved that it was finally dead, and desperately longing for a bath. She stared into the other woman's eyes, mirth and passion dancing there in equal measure.

''You continue to amaze me Akalfa, you are as impressive as you are beautiful. When we get out of this I will show you my appreciation first-hand. For now this will have to suffice....''

She grinned and gave Akalfa a passionate kiss, keeping it brief for obvious reasons but putting as much affection and heat into it as possible. Pulling away breathlessly, she then got up, helping Akalfa to her feet.

''Now that that abomination is dead, we can finally be on our way. Let us gather our gear, find Zwarr and Dirk and make those monsters pay!''

Valira said this with pure determination, clenching her fist in the air.

The robed dark elf paused as he stepped out in front of her, then raised a hand and began chanting. A strange purple circle began to form under his feet.

Desperate and panicking and out of viable options, Dirk charged toward the robed figure and threw a punch toward what he assumed was her midsection.

Akalfa fell back with a comical thud, eyes vast as the creature ceased to be nothing more than a mess of parts. Perhaps she did underestimate herself. An amethyst shade akin to her own eyes took to the Dark Elf's cheeks as her blush deepened. The other woman's words left a feeling of weightlessness in her stomach. Her intense viridian gaze made Akalfa feel...small, in a good way. Not insignificant as her people made her feel. Instead protected. Cared for, desired. She would have to show the elven warrior her gratitude properly one of these days...

"You're one to talk! I would not have been able to do half as much if you hadn't freed me. I pale in compa-" The near self-deprecating words quickly silenced by Valira's show of passion as their bodies met. When their lips parted Akalfa was rendered silent, much too flustered to string together any coherent ramblings. Merely taking the captivating High Elf's hand and steadying her footing on the now slippery floor.

"I hope they are both safe. I do not know if Dirk is nearby but it seems those domineering fiends hadn't caught him, judging by their words. Though Zwarr being left alone with that wretched villainess cannot be good. Let us make haste!" Akalfa said with renewed vigor.

Valira and Akalfa stepped out of the room and into a dark hallway. At first they were at a complete loss as to where to go, then the sounds of conflict, and shouted curses could be heard from down the passage to their right.

The robed elf was not expecting Dirk to be quite so quick on his feet, and let out an audible grunt as his fist connected with her guts. Then she backhanded him so hard that he was sent sprawling against the wall. His vision was obscured by stars for a brief for a moment before he managed to get back to his feet. Magic of some sort was definitely at work here, as this woman was far stronger than she had any right to be. Unfortunately, the situation only got worse as the other dark elf stepped out of the room he had just left, still naked, and looking very angry.

"No, stay here," Ishtar replied, before stepping out the door, her face twisted with rage. Looking around for anything he could use, Zwarr's eyes lit up when he spotted his axe in the corner of the room, and Ishtar had been kind enough to turn her back to him as well.

"...I don't suppose it's too late to beg forgiveness?" Dirk asked warily.

He put his back to the wall and drew his daggers, looking between the two pissed-off elves for any possible window of escape; although he already knew he wouldn't find one.

So that was it: mission failed.

He'd fucked up again, and hadn't managed to save anyone. Now he was going to die and the others would spend the rest of their lives in slavery, to say nothing of whatever horrible fate Sholgra and the princess had in store within the dragon's lair.

But really, what were you expecting? He thought, bitterly. To single-handedly save the day and prove to everyone that you're not entirely useless? Hah! You're not a hero, you're a vile, deceitful alley rat and now you're gonna get what's coming to you...

His own abusive thoughts sapped his fighting spirit faster than anything the dark elves could have done. Dirk lowered his weapons and quietly hung his head, closing his eyes as he waited for them to end it.

Valira's ears perked up at the sounds and she raced along with Akalfa with all due haste towards the source. Thankfully, they had managed to find their gear after a bit of rummaging through the room, and Valira drew her sword with one fluid motion. She was ready for battle, itching to let out her anger and to make these scoundrels pay. As they rounded a corner, they came upon the harrowing sight. Though it was wonderful to see Dirk again, the circumstances left much to be desired. He was clearly in dire peril and needed their help.

''Turn around and face us you wretched coward! That is, if you think you have the skill!''

Valira pointed her sword at the robed figure, glaring with both anger and defiance. Sneak attacks weren't exactly her style, besides the direct approach still served its purpose in keeping her away from Dirk. She shot the man in question a small nod, motioning him to move out of the line of fire as it were.

Zwarr saw his guitar and quickly grabbed it, He then cleared his throat. He then called out to Ishtar before she left the room, "Wait! Mistress.. I got something for you!" He said dropping the drone tone after 'Mistress' and suddenly strumming on his guitar. He was casting a hypnotic spell! Similar to the spell she herself cast on him. "Now I'm your Master of Puppets... pulling the strings!" He said hoping she'd fall under his hypnotic sway. If she did... he'd return the same favor she'd 'shown him'... keep her as a 'slave' for awhile... a bit of fitting payback. Sides... every good rockstar needs gruppies~.

((The Spell to put it in 'D&D' style terms would be the kind that if successful, temporarily enslaves the mind of the target into an obedient servant. (this case a bimbo 'gruppie' persona placed over her normal mind) but it'd need to be 'refreshed' every so often to keep it going.))

Akalfa dashed along with Valira, running as fast as her legs could take her, heart pounding like that of a war drum. The harsh sounds of conflict and dispute that graced her ears brought on a sense of urgency. Eyes well adjusted to the low light, a natural boon of the Dark Elves. A squabble was most certainly taking place and she well intended to find out more.

As they reached the corner Akalfa's face lit up. At first glad to see her lost companion finally found, until she saw the gloom upon his face, grave and forlorn. Who could inspire such an emotion in a seasoned adventurer like Dirk? Her eyes looked up towards the figure standing over him and nearly popped a vessel. The same purple-robed elf, with that same air of being too good and too powerful for anyone else. Akalfa hated to admit it but jealously seethed in her veins. The woman's power was remarkable casting spells unheard of with ease, making the 'adept' sorceress feel more inadequate than she was used to. Being a lacky for some bossy dominatrix yet acting as though she and Valira weren't even worthy of words. A blend of both uneasiness and vexation ate away at her. Akalfa chewed her lip, watching as Valira unsheathed her blade. When the familiar sound of music filled the air her enraged expression turned to one of welcome surprise. Zwarr! And a very nude Ishtar.

Her brow did raise taking a quick peek at the tall buxom elf's body, surprised to see both her and she lacked a certain appendage. To rise above the ranks in their society despite must have been hard work. Something Akalfa herself could not do. Of all the times to feel inferior...

Shaking her head she pushed to ignore such meddling thoughts. Fretting could come later. Moving to focus on the more pressing issue of her comrade being in peril. Akalfa began channeling her arcane magic to focus on a spell that could (hopefully) help incapacitate the robed elf. Knowing the mage would uphold no such honor to fight fair. Though more time would be needed. They were all getting out of here, whether these 'superiors' liked it or not.

Valira had seen the troubled expression on Dirk's face, clearly something had caused the man to give up on the fight at hand, his slumped shoulders, resigned look and dropped weapons were obvious proof of that. When this was all said and done, Valira and the others would need to talk to Dirk about this. In the meantime, Valira had to focus on the battle at hand. She was grateful for Akalfa's support and completely understood the look of rage that filled her face at the sight of her former comrade. The robed woman was powerful indeed, Valira could tell as much, and they would need to work together to defeat her. Just as she was musing over this, she heard the music play and turned towards the sight of the sound. She knew that it must be Zwarr and that realisation filled her with delight, even as the sight of Ishtar naked confused her.

Why do the evil ones always have to be so attractive?

She thought this with an inward sigh, taking in the other woman's attractive form but not allowing herself to be distracted by it. Valira hoped that whatever spell Zwarr was casting would be enough to take her down, after all Ishtar was no slouch. Even with the element of surprise it was still a risky move. She turned her mind back to the task at hand, knowing that Zwarr could handle himself and understanding that Dirk and Akalfa needed her full focus.

The unexpected sound of Valira’s taunting shocked Dirk right out of his despair. It took him a second to process that he wasn’t just hearing things – she and Akalfa really had burst on to the scene in the nick of time.

“Oh, broke yourselves out, did you? That’s great! Well done, both of you!” He said, as a familiar chord rang out from the bedroom; Zwarr Metal was back on the stage and ready to rock.

So, they didn’t even need your help. In the end, you were the one who needed rescuing…

He shook his head, perishing the thought for now, and focused his attention on the robed one that had slapped him into the wall. The circumstances had changed a lot over the past few moments, but it seemed that they now had the dark elves surrounded and outnumbered. “It’s still not too late to beg forgiveness!” he teased.

Ishtar's leg snapped out, and Zwarr felt the air blast out of his lungs as her stiletto heeled boot connected with his abdomen. If her aim had been just a couple of inches lower, he'd probably be singing soprano for the rest of his life. As it stood, he was simply pushed further back into the room, clutching his gut as she stalked towards him. "Nice try, you little retch, now be a good boy and sit down!" her eyes glowed again, and Zwarr felt the same feeling trying to claw its way into his head again.
Meanwhile the robed woman, Sune, held out an open palm in each direction, and both Dirk and Valira felt their eyes close on their own. Opening them again was a struggle, keeping them open a herculean effort as the power of this woman's magic came down on them like a waterfall, forcing them to their knees in an instant. All while Akalfa watched, apparently ignored by the stronger magic user.

Valira cursed inwardly at the sound of Zwarr's failure, but she didn't have time to focus on that as she and the others had their own problems to deal with. As she fell to her knees, Valira struggled to resist the effects of Sune's magic, summoning every ounce of willpower and determination she had in order to keep her eyes open and to move her legs. They felt felt like jelly, and her brain felt just as mired in molasses, but she wouldn't give up. She grit her teeth and held onto her sword, helping to ground her even as she struggled to do so.

''If.... you think.... this will stop us.... you are a damn.... fool!''

Valira barely managed to spit out this declaration, doing her best to glare at the robed woman as she tried to make a full throttle effort to return to her feet.

(Um. I was under the impression there was like a good few feet between her and him. like out of immediate kicking range. Also I was hoping since she was unexpecting it might make that easier. If I'm wrong, I appologize. just wanted to double check.)

An audible gasp was heard as Akalfa watched in fear witnessing Dirk and Valira struggle against Sune's potent sorcery. As expected fairness was not a term her people were very familiar with. Frantically she scrambled to prepare herself for an oncoming assault, same as her two companions...Except it never came. For a scant moment, she was bewildered. Did the mage not have enough power for three? Or perhaps she had not noticed the fourth member with her back turned. As Akalfa mulled it over the least likely that seemed. A sorcerer of her apparent caliber could detect life with ease. No, the stark truth of the matter was right before her eyes. One she was bitter to accept.

She wasn't perceived as a threat.

This was not a new occurrence but it stung all the same. The exact lingering feeling of shame and paltriness rose like a tidepool, threatening to swallow her whole. Every time. Regardless of how much was studied, or any small achievements she could call her own it was never enough. What couldn't even be called decent, just scraping by underachieving. To be considered beneath notice even in the heat of battle...was she truly so weak? Unworthy of a glance?

Akalfa rejected the very notion. She had expelled that woman's summon with ease!

Valira's numerous words of validation rang true despite the meekness threatening to surpass Akalfa. If that mage really was all-powerful her creature most certainly was not, nor was that hunter. They were all proven capable, just in a tight spot. Breathing room was needed. And as luck would have it, her elven kin were too comfortable with her presence to pay attention. A chill cooled her fingers, the spell would not be at its full effectiveness but time was of the essence. Wordlessly throwing back her arm she whirled and hurled forth a blast of frost towards Sune.

As Zwarr was doubled over, clearly struggling to fight back, Ishtar continued to close. "That's it, do as you're tol-" Her attention was momentarily broken as a hateful sheik rung out from the hallway, and she broke eye contact.

The blast of cold hit Sune square in the chest, and she was covered in a thick layer of frost, that froze her clothes rigid. She screamed, and threw out her arms, breaking the frozen robe, and revealing herself in all her glory. She stood on cloven hooves, her legs covered in thick black fur like those of a goat, and between them sat the unmistakable sheath of an animalistic penis. Further, leathery bat-like wings spread out from her shoulders, and a snake trailed behind her as a tail, its eyes shining and fangs bared. This explained why the woman was so adept at magic, Akalfa realized, she was no dark elf, she was a demon!

Valira and Dirk both felt a weight lift off their minds as their attacker was throne off balance, the monster between them reeled, but was not defeated.

(No worries, I'm currently a bit under the weather myself so I totally get it. I hope you feel better soon!)

Valira's mouth opened in surprise at the sight before her. To think that the Dark Elves would be working with a demon of all creatures, was there no end to their depravity? She was proud of Valira for getting the jump on the creature, the foul thing underestimated her friend at its own peril. Still, there was no time to voice such sentiments, or to be distracted by Sune's ghastly form. It was time to press their advantage and put an end to this. She rose to her feet, pointing her sword at the beast and without saying a word she ran towards it, slashing it with a cry of rage.

''Don't let up friends! We mustn't let these scoundrels escape! Akalfa and I will focus on the demon, Dirk and Zwarr please deal with Ishtar!''

She said this as she slashed at her foe once more, a look of fierce determination on her face. She braced herself for whatever the creature would throw at them in response, grateful to have her friends by her side. It was true they out numbered the two of them, but with Ishtar and Sune's power such an advantage wasn't as good as it sounded on paper.

The spell lifted, but it was the blast of cold air that really snapped Dirk back into wakefulness. Then he leapt back in shock at the hooved, winged, stark-naked monstrosity that was suddenly standing right in front of him. He staggered to his feet, readying his weapons just as Valira charged the demon.

However, she seemed to be able to handle it. He nodded as she told him to go after – Ishtar, was it? That must be name of the other elf – the one he'd just seen in the room with Zwarr. Dirk rushed through the doorway, with much less fear this time.

He took a moment to properly assess the scene as he shut the door behind him: a naked elf woman, a disreputable man holding a weapon, and another odd fellow coming in unexpectedly. This seemed familiar...

“…I’m not interrupting, am I?~” said Dirk, mirroring Zwarr’s first words to him.

The first stroke of Valira's sword caught Sune in the arm, but her other hand came up, sheathed in magic power and caught the blade between her fingers. Her other hand shot up, and seized the elf warrior by the throat, lifting her off the ground, and cutting off her air. "Forget the slave auction, you're both going straight to the Lust Pits," she snarled.

Dirk found Zwarr and Ishtar apparently locked in some sort of mental contest. Ishtar was forced to stop her assault on Zwarr and turn to him. "Be a good boy, and sit down!" Her eyes shone, and Dirk felt a strange power trying to creep into his head, trying to force him to obey her.

Valira's eyes widened in surprise before quickly turning to fear as the demon began to choke the life out of her. She struggled in the foul creatures grip, summoning every ounce of strength and determination she had in order to free herself from Sune's not so loving embrace. As she fought, thoughts of her friends and their noble quest invaded her mind, helping to spur her on. She would not fall here! Valira used her free hand to punch Sune in the gut as hard as she possibly could and her legs to try to knock her off balance. Even if she could just make the beast loosen her grip on Valira's sword that would be a victory and could mean the difference between life and death.

Terror struck Akalfa's face as she gazed wide-eyed at the reveal of Sune's true form. She had known something felt different about the woman but would have never guessed her arcane power stemmed from demonic blood. What madness could have overtaken Ishtar to side with a demon? How did she sway one to her side, to begin with? Dismissing the barrage of questions attempting to assail her mind Akalfa cheered at the sight of Valira slashing the foul demoness. With Dirk running to aid Zwarr, the tides had finally turned in their favor!

So she had thought. Until Sune lifted Valira off of the ground without a modicum of effort. With the furious shouting resonating from the other room her bout of confidence vanished as quickly as it came. Ears low and trembling panic began to set it. If she flung another spell toward Sune the wicked demon could easily use her struggling comrade as a shield and injure her! The only option was to get close, and that would leave the timid Dark Elf sorceress at a huge disadvantage. Yet hopefully could serve as the perfect distraction to free Valira!

Swallowing her dread Akalfa ran forward in a rush of bravado.

"Unhand her you wretch!"

Akalfa shouted as the blazing heat of fire graced her palms once more, hands outstretched and ready to attack.

Zwarr noticed Dirk, but didn't break consentration as he was BLASTING his music at her. Still hammering that spell into her, "No way bitch, Why don't you be a good gruppie and bend the knee to the METAL!!" He said shouting back refusing to lose this contest. "AND IF ANYONE INTERFERS WITH THIS THEY'RE NEXT!!!" He said as it almost like he had a fire in his eyes, he wasn't going to lose to her... this was personal. He wouldn't be her puppet again, he was going to make her HIS bitch this time. She messed with the wrong bard, He was Zwarr Metal and You can't destroy the Metal.
