Starting Over [Archangel] [Discontinued]

[Archangel99]

His face splits into a grin, before it turns into a wince. He had completely forgotten the guy's name.

"Hey! Over here!" He yells, waving to the purple guy as his mind frantically raced through his memories, searching for the name.

 

[Floozer]

Maul comes thudding over to Kai with a big grin on his face "Little man! you are this Harbinger fella? That is awesome!" He uses his smaller arms to shake Kai's... which sends him flopping up and down for a few moments.

 

[Archangel99]

"Yes- I- am-!" He says as he bounces up and down, trying not to bite off his own tongue as he speaks. "Good to have you here, Maul. We could definitely use your help." He says with a grin.

 

[Floozer]

"Yea! Demons and stuff! I only understand like... half of what that dream lady said... but she was smoking hot so I don't care! Lets do this thing!"

 

[Archangel99]

Ah... Feels nice to have a simple mind to reason with sometimes, isn't it? Lucky you.

"Yeaaah. Alright so... Do you happen to have any experience with building or making tools? Or do you happen to have any tools?" He asks, tilting his head.

 

[Floozer]

He is actually so simple he flips to complicated. I spent hours trying to explain what was going on... be thankful.

"I got three tools! My fists! Only the best tools for the best kind of guy! Haha!"

 

[Archangel99]

Uhhh... I can see that. Yikes.

"Good! Well, I suppose we can use your fists to bring down a few trees for wood." He says, pointing back to the forest. "But..." His voice turns more somber. "Be careful. I've spotted some odd, plant like creatures in the forest. They're highly aggressive, and very hard to kill. You'll have to smash their heads in, or rip all their limbs off. I don't want anyone travelling alone. Always move in groups of a minimum of three people." He says.

 

[Floozer]

"Bring it oooooooooooon! I will smash them into plant pulp!" Mauls says while thumping his chest... it sounds like rocks colliding... "Just leave it to me boss man! I will have those trees down in seconds!" With that he thunders off toward the trees, a few confused people going after him to try and help.

 

[Archangel99]

"Well... I suppose that's taken care of..." He mutters dryly, before turning to the others. "Alright. Anyone know how to cook and what foods are safe to eat?" He asks, smiling.

 

[Floozer]

A few hands go up this time, three mutants and a human step forward.

 

[Archangel99]

"Alright. Good. You four will go into the woods with the wood collecting team, and try to find what food you can. Do bring the seeds back, as they can be replanted to grow plants for future use." He says, nodding to the rather clear path left behind by Maul's group.
"Now... Who knows how to hunt?" He asks, looking over the remaining people.

 

[Floozer]

Those four scoot to go and meet up with the giant bulk that is Maul. The rest of the group doesn't move... no hunters it seems.

 

[Archangel99]

"Well... It seems the meat part of our diets will have to be handled by me." He mutters, sighing. "Oooor..." He grins. "Who wants to learn how to hunt?" He asks with a grin.

 

[Floozer]

Two of the remaining people, both mutants, step foward with smiles on their faces.

 

[Archangel99]

"Alright. Good. We'll go out and hunt. Roro, come with us. It's not safe here alone. Plus, you might actually learn something." He says, pulling the shemale forwards, before starting to walk towards the forest.

 

[Floozer]

With that, the rest of them head out to learn how to hunt... hopefully. Roro looks nervous but follows along all the same.

 

[Archangel99]

"Alright. So... The first thing we have to do... Is find tracks. Deer is pretty easy. Two sets of cloven hooves." He says, pointing down to the dirt. "As you can see, there aren't any prints. But, the softness of the dirt determines how deep the imprints will go. This is both good and bad. Good because you'll spot it more easily. Bad, because you won't be able to tell how long ago the print was made. Now... Look around and see if you can spot any prints." He says, scanning the ground for prints.

 

[Floozer]

The hapless newbies start looking around the area, trying to find some tracks or something similar to them. A few minutes in one of them waves him down and p oints to a set of clawed tracks.

 

[Archangel99]

"Hmmm... Claws. Clearly some kind of bird. We'll have to be careful. Come on." He murmurs, crouching as he begins to follow the tracks. "The important thing to note is that you have to be quiet. And if you're in a hunting party, communicate with hand signals alone. Right now, I assume we're quite far from the target, so it's okay to converse normally. Now follow me. Any questions?" He asks as he starts walking, following the tracks.

 

[Floozer]

"Why are we crouching?" asks one of them as they are all crouch walking behind him now.

 

[Archangel99]

"So I can see the tracks better. Plus, the added bonus is, if that thing happens to be tall, it won't spot us if we're hidden in the shrubs. Well... Not until we're closer, at least. I suppose now would be a good time for a camouflage lesson. My favourite is covering myself with mud and sticking branches into the mud. You'll look like a crawling plant." He says with a little chuckle.

 

[Floozer]

They all just look rather confused, looking around to see if there is any loose sticks and leaves they could use and not really sure what to do with them.

(Off I go)

 

[Archangel99]

"We... Don't have to do it right now. We can wait till later." He says with a chuckle. "We'll have to find soil soft enough to do it. Plus some running water."

 

[Floozer]

They all shrug and drop what they had picked up while following after him. the tracks lead further into the woods where they get harder and harder to follow.

 

[Archangel99]

"Well... Now the footprints are getting harder to find. That's when you switch to looking for other signs. Broken or bent branches, torn leaves, things like that." He murmurs, looking around for any such signs.

 

[Floozer]

"Umm, if its a bird... then will it really make all that much of a change where it goes?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Well... No. Unless this one can't fly." He says, shrugging and looking up at the trees to see if any branches had been broken. That would mean the bird had taken flight, and it was pointless chasing it.

[Damn. I was hoping for a sexy harpy. ]

 

[Floozer]

"Well... I mean... yea ok." The voice falls silent and soon the trail goes completely dark with no more tracks to follow, at least none that Kai can see.

 

[Archangel99]

"Well... It seems the trail has gone cold. Let's head back." He says with a sigh.

 

[Floozer]

The group grumbles as they stop sneaking around and just stand up, turning to head back the way they came.

"Can't win them all Harbinger... it was a spur of the moment thing anyway." roro says to try and cheer him up.
