"Hey, it's alright. Not everyone is the same." He murmurs, patting Roro's head. "You don't have to do it, but... Well... I won't stop you if you try." He says with a smile.
"No, I never went to any cave... it was literally a slab of rock I found on the floor while gathering some berries one day. It had strange carvings that I couldn't read but I was infatuated with them. One night while I slept the dark lady visited me and showed me the slab was a piece of her words.... I was branded that very night after a very... intense dream"
"I was more concerned about our physical safety." He says dryly. "Or would you rather be eaten? I'd hate to lose my new fuckbuddy." He says with a chuckle.
"Well... It's worth a shot... I'll fly up there and scout them out. You hide somewhere until I call for you, okay?" He says, setting him down and taking to the air and flying straight up to check if there were any caves large enough to shelter them.
The search takes a few minutes but Kai does find a shallow cave a fair distance up the mountain. It is deep enough to get out of the wind but it doesn't look like it goes anywhere important.
He flies towards it, before landing at the edge of it. He tosses a small stone into the cave to see if he gets some sort of response from anything within.
Just to be sure, he walks deeper inside. He walks slowly and carefully, trying not to make too much noise. Only when he touched the back wall of the cave could he be satisfied with the safety of it.
