Starting Over [Archangel] [Discontinued]

[Archangel99]

[Training?]

"Um... I can't carry someone else while flying. How about I just come down there and help you up?" He calls out from above.

 

[Floozer]

Roro mumbles something and starts climbing up regardless, his nimble little body easily able to scale the cliffs though he shivers as the air grows colder.

[Training for work. Also bye, I got the dentist in thirty minutes and work after that.]

 

[Archangel99]

He winces as Roro starts shivering. Well... At least he'd be nice and warm when he came into the cave. He leans out and holds his arm out for him to grab when he's close enough.

 

[Floozer]

A rather chilly Roro soon reaches Kai's arms and is quick to scramble up and push himself against Kai once again, shaking like a leaf in the wind. "M-m-made it."

 

[Archangel99]

"Congratulations. You get a warm hug as a reward!" He says, chuckling and carrying the effeminate male deeper into the cave, where it wasn't so exposed to the chilly wind.

 

[Floozer]

He clings to Kai as tightly as he can, shivering in his thin leaf clothes as they were made simply to cover, not to actually keep the cold out.

 

[Archangel99]

He hugs him tighter, wrapping his wings around the shivering cutie. He rubs his hands up and down his back quickly, trying to warm him up.

 

[Floozer]

Eventually the shivering stops and Roro relaxes against Kai "That's better. Thank you Harbinger!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Mmh... It's nothing. It's something I would do for anyone. I take care of followers. Or at least, try to." He murmurs, settling back against the hard cave wall and trying to get comfortable.

 

[Floozer]

It.. isn't really comfy to be honest, rocks never are, but Roro seems happy right now and it brings a smile to Kai's face.

 

[Archangel99]

He sighs and shakes his head a little, before leaning his head back against the wall and trying to go to sleep.

 

[Floozer]

Kai eventually falls asleep with Roro leaning up against them. His sleep is without dreams and very peaceful. He wakes up to the sound of voices in the distance below him, Roro still in his lap.

 

[Archangel99]

He pokes his head up, and then starts patting Roro's arm, trying to wake him up.

 

[Floozer]

"Mmm... five more minutes... its warm in here."

 

[Archangel99]

"I can hear voices. People may have arrived." He whispers, slowly rolling him off and walking towards the edge of the cave to look down.

 

[Floozer]

Down below is a big mix of mutants and even a few humans! They are all standing around talking to each other but looking fairly lost all the same.

 

[Archangel99]

Ah. The flock is here, it seems...

He whistles sharply, trying to get their attention. "Hello down there!" He calls out loudly.

 

[Floozer]

It seems so. Only a few more are still walking in but the majority should be there by now.

The talking stops and they all look up,smiling as they see their Harbinger. A few wave their hands while others simply stand and watch what he will do.

 

[Archangel99]

Time for the speech... *Sigh* I suck at speeches....

"Hello there!" He says, waving a hand. "Welcome! Welcome to the start of a brand new life!" He says, grinning and spreading his arms. "What you're looking at now... Is the future of our races! Right now it's just a big patch of dirt, but... Well... That's why you're here. You're going to play a role in the construction of a settlement! A place that is safe, secure, and above all... Free!"

 

[Floozer]

A general murmur goes through the crowd, most of them nodding their heads in approval while others just look neutral about the news.

Give them time, they will see the benefits eventually.

 

[Archangel99]

Of course. Can't expect everyone to jump on the bandwagon right away...

"Now, before we begin... Does anyone here have skills with building?" He asks loudly.

 

[Floozer]

A few hands go up slowly, two mutants and a human... well, three of twelve isn't bad.

 

[Archangel99]

"Very well. Let me get down there, and we can talk about this in more detail." He says, looking back at Roro. "Come on. The others are here. It's time to go down." He says.

 

[Floozer]

"Awww... back into the cold." He mutters while getting up and moving over to climb down.

 

[Archangel99]

"Just until we get to the bottom, Roro." He says, chuckling and slapping his butt right in full view of everyone else, before starting to climb down next to him.

 

[Floozer]

The two slowly make their way down and soon stand on the ground below in front of the crowd of mutants and humans alike which all look expectantly at Kai.

 

[Archangel99]

"Alright. So... Let's at least get started with the basics. There's wood in front of us, and stone behind us, but the problem is, we have no tools to use either. I don't suppose anyone has any experience with making tools?" He asks, looking over the crowd.

 

[Floozer]

Heads shake and shoulders shrug... seems no one has that kind of experience.

"I am pretty good and working metal into stuff... if you can get me some tools." Calls a green mutant from the back.

"Yea, and I have patched up a few walls in my time." Mutters one of the few humans.

Hey, don't mean to alarm you but... you have a big friend coming over from the west... your left.

 

[Archangel99]

Ummmm... What?

He immediately looks to the left, wanting to see what's coming. "Okay, nobody panic, but the Queen just told me some rather large friend is coming." He says, squinting his eyes as he tries to see into the distance.

 

[Floozer]

"YEEEEEEEEEEA!" Comes from the left before a large, purple, three armed and very familiar being jumps over the last hill and lands with a thud "I made it! Yes! It only took three tries!"

The whole crowd is staring at him with confused and concerned faces.
