The group crests a hill and ahead of them they can see the base of the mountains. It looks like this could be a nice spot to set up witht he mountain at their backs they would only have to watch the front... though at the same time it cuts off any form of retreat should they need it.

"Alright... This looks like a nice place to build." He says, looking around the area. "Now... That mountain would be a good rear defence, but... We'd have nowhere to run. On the other hand... We could just build a tunnel underneath." He says, pointing to the ground.
"We would need even more man power to dig through the bae of a mountain. That is also assuming we don't find natural caverns which could lead to almost anything both good and bad. Long story short, every choice will lead to risks and rewards... or at leas tthat is the hope."
"Well... Hopefully more rewards than risks, but... Hey. I'm not that stupid to make decisions that would put the colony in danger." He says with a chuckle.
"Yeah.... Which is a bit of a problem. You think maybe we should mark this spot with something before we leave?" He asks, looking at Hina.
"Well... We'll come back and kick them away." He says with a little chuckle. "But yeah. Let's leave this place until we find some people to work with us." He says, grinning.
"Well... We still need more people. But hey. At least we know where to come back to. If they ask where the spot is, we'll just be like: "Uuuuhhhhhhhhhh... We have no idea.". How well do you think that would go over? That shows we have no confidence, not any idea what we're doing. Technically, we'd be right about that last bit, but they don't have to know about it." He says, coughing at the end of the sentence.

"Or we could work together. They don't HAVE to give up their own culture." He says with a shrug.
"Well... Yeah. That always happens." He says with a sigh, before looking up at the mountains. "Come on. Let's go." He says, starting to walk up.
"Well lets look at it this way. If we put this spot as the center, we need to explore around it. To the west are the plant people so we should avoid them until you are ready to deal with them. North are the mountains... kind of a hard beast to tame. That leaves South and East to explore."
"Oh... Well... Let's try the East first. We already came from the south, right? And... We didn't really see anything good. So let's try east." He says, nodding.
The list is long and getting longer. First he needs people to either move in or just help out, general man power he could call it. They also need supplies like food, water and shelter... clothes could be optional depending on the weather and how people feel about that sort of thing. Wood and stone is common enough though they would need tools to harvest them efficiently and some means of getting it back to the town spot. Food is going to be a hard spot as farming requires a lot of attention to do correctly and efficiently... not to mention the many tools needed to make it a bearable task.

He groans and shakes his head, grumbling to himself as he considers the task he took upon himself. However, he couldn't just give it up now. He had promised his queen that he would do it, and he would. He may have been many things, but a man who went back on his words was not one of them.
"Say, Hina... Remember that tribe of sheep people we met back when we were coming here? You think we could bring them back here to work on farming? I mean... They seemed to know what to do." He says with a shrug.

"True. Mostly cause they're cute. And cuddly." He says with a chuckle. "But we have to make sure they keep farming, and not just giving everyone hugs. We could try to invite Aila's tribe too. Their females would make good guards. And the males... Well... Could farm too, I suppose. How's the soil around here?" He asks, poking his toes into the dirt and wriggling them around.
"Okay. That's good. So we can get them to come here... And then they can farm the land." He says.
