So I am currently running a 100% Crit build Thief and am playing a Kitsune, I love the build I have going for me. But I want to use Kiyoko as a Fox wife for head canon reasons. So I am just wondering and if anyone can help me understand it a bit. What would be a good outfit and companion with her? I am currently working on just setting the groundwork up for levels and gear atm. But do want my final parter to have her and one other in it, just curious which will make my playthrough a bit more managable.

You need Cait as a safety net because the whole party will always fall when you do.

You could also make a case for Ryn because of blessing and healing but even then I think Cait has the edge, especially since companion ults don't change between sets so you can run DPS Cait if you want more damage.

In contrast to when the set released Kangen Kiyoko is very strong now. Because of how powercrept the player character is once you have access to the powers added in the more recent updates, a companion that more or less functions as a CDR bot contributes more value than most. Assuming you're using Blue Flame Blade on your PC you can run her with Queenly Raiment Etheryn and the stun of your choice (crackle powder will apply your BFB burn, as well as bleed if your weapon has it, in one ability. Grease empowers your next turn at the cost of doing no damage itself) for very high blessing uptime + enemies that spend the majority of turns stunned. Kangen CDR also lets you easily maintain 100% bloodlust uptime with fury strike as a non-charmer if that's something you want to do. Overkill, but funny.

Gonna definitely want a healer companion since you are going dps and Kiyoko doesn't have a true healing set (kind of hope this changes eventually but not likely since she's kind of stacked for sets). But in terms of healing companions you got plenty of options, between Cait, Ryn, Azy, and Brint/Brienne. In terms of outfits? If you mean aesthetically your pretty limited if your are playing a masculine male character. If you going fem/futa/herm? Kunoichi set would might be good for you. If you just looking for gear for stats though... just check the wiki as it's going to be dependent on whether you are going full physical crit, or you went more of a spellblade style.

Pre-Ultimate, you can choose between healers. After reaching it, you need Cait to not run out of Karellia's Tears. Fortunately you can choose between a few of her sets because the Ultimates don't change for npcs.
