Starting Over [Archangel] [Discontinued]

[Archangel99]

"Yeah... I know. But we still have to find him. Though the temptation to just give up on him is pretty high. I mean... The guy is old enough. I'm sure he can take care of himself. Why am I running after him like a child...?" He mutters, frowning a little.

 

[Floozer]

"Because you care and you are worried about his well being. However, as you explore the world and get some sense in your head... you surely realize that he is obviously able to protect himself by now yes?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Yeah... Clearly he knows something I don't. I mean... He got this far... Likely without companions and a mutation. I suppose... Maybe I should just... Let him go?" He asks, looking at Hina.

 

[Floozer]

"That is up to you. But perhaps thinking of yourself a bit more would be nice? More of a goal than beating your brother up."

 

[Archangel99]

He rolls his eyes. "I told you Hina. That's just a bit of a crude term for hug him to pieces first, and then slap his face for leaving without telling me. And then hug him again." He sighs.

 

[Floozer]

"I am well aware" She says with a smile "That was me pushing your buttons for once."

 

[Archangel99]

"Ah. I forgot. Sneaky droid." He says, wagging a finger at her, before turning around. "Well... Let's explore, then. Find a new place for a settlement." He says, rubbing his chin.

 

[Floozer]

"You mean find a settlement or... start your own?" Chasey asks in confusion "You said that really weird."

 

[Archangel99]

"Start my own, of course. Like... A sort of safe haven for the mutants." He murmurs, already imagining it in his head.

 

[Floozer]

"A safe haven... I like this idea. But where could we set it up? Everywhere we go is dangerous."

 

[Archangel99]

"Then we clear it out. Find a place that's relatively safe and easily defendable... And start the building process. Start calling the other mutants in. They'll take up jobs as well... Like guarding the walls, looking for resources, building... Stuff like that." He murmurs.

 

[Floozer]

"Start will be difficult... but if this is what you want to do, I see no reason to leave."

"so long as you feed me, I am game."

 

[Archangel99]

"Of course it's going to be difficult. Nothing good ever comes easy." He murmurs, sighing. "But we have to get started. So... Hina. What would be the ideal place for a colony to start anew? Give me some requirements." He says, turning to her.

 

[Floozer]

She checks her database "It would need natural defenses like hills, mountains... forests... things like that. The grounds around it should be flat for farming... and fertile as well. Resources being near by would also be a huge plus... things like iron and wood... so again, mountain areas."

 

[Archangel99]

"Mountain areas... But preferably nothing with extreme temperatures like the place we just came down from." He says, nodding. "Well... Let's start our search for a place like that. But first... I need a few more followers. Just the two of you won't be enough for the project. No offense." He says.

 

[Floozer]

"None taken... building a settlment will take many hands.... perhaps these followers of yours will follow?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Maybe... But now isn't the time. I need to find a place first. Then I could just ask the Queen to sort of... Broadcast the location to all her followers. They'll tell everyone they meet, aaaand..." He spreads his arms. "They'll come."

[Gotta sleep. Got shit to do tomorrow. Gaaaaah. I really wanna stay up and RP...]

 

[Floozer]

"Maybe..." She looks around for a moment "Perhaps you can fly up and look for potential spots?"

[Is fine, go sleep now!]

 

[Archangel99]

"Well... I suppose that's a good idea." He murmurs, before taking to the air and flying in a circle to see if he can spot any mountain ranges.

 

[Floozer]

He can see some far to the north east, just on the edges of his sight range really.... will be a long trek to get there.

 

[Archangel99]

He gets back to the ground, and looks at them. "Well... There's a mountain range to the northeast... But it's really fucking far. Long way to walk." He says.

 

[Floozer]

"Do we have much choice?" asks Chasey with a sigh "We may as well start legging it."

 

[Archangel99]

"Yep. Would be nice if we could find something to ride. Like... A horse. Or... What other animals could we ride?" He asks, rubbing his chin.

 

[Floozer]

"Horse... donkey... really anything large and sturdy enough to support weight."

 

[Archangel99]

"Okay... So basically we need to find something to ride to make the trip shorter." He says with a sigh, before starting to walk towards the mountain range.

 

[Floozer]

"Well yes... you two could fly later but that would put me in a right pickle now wouldn't it?" hina says while walking with him. "And REx could only carry one of us at a time."

 

[Archangel99]

"Or we could both carry Hina. Grab one arm each and go." He says with a shrug.

 

[Floozer]

"Nah, she would just weigh us down like that... carying people while you fly is much harder than you would think."

 

[Archangel99]

"Right... Unless you're carrying a small person. Like a child." He murmurs, nodding. "I suppose we'll have to hoof it for now." He sighs, walking in the direction of the mountain range.

[Or a sexy little green goblin. ]

 

[Floozer]

"Exactly"

Rex barks happily and runs around them in circles as they ventur to the north east, out of the city limits within a few hours

"So... just gonna be some safe haven for mutatns or are all welcome?"
