It depends how much you want to focus on DPS or if you want to buff. For stats; Willpower, Cunning, Presence, drink the agility drink for initiative . You could also drop cunning for agility and drink Juice for crit. Weapons and armor you want to balance your spell power and sexiness and keep armor light for the sexiness bonus, so sanctified gladius/Ashelander and the Harp of Waves, the Tiran Nun Vestment and ouroboros pendant with everything else pumping sexiness except maybe 1 ring slot if you have the guildring. Abilities depends again, but Power Cadence for at will gives you, at 150 sexiness, 50 in all attack stats, combine that with the new Cryostatic arc recharge abillity and the triple resonance debuff for Song of Splendor encounter ability and you can 2 turn a lot of enemies in this game. Pure sexiness still drops some the biggest nukes, but with this build you have more breathing room for longer battles. You can use Song of Storms if you want to give 1 of your companions a huge damage boost of around 100+ storm damage. If you want chip damage, I would pick from between the more spammy abilities like Aria of Waves or Thundering Chord or pick Dischord for the stagger chance. You can change Song of Splendor for roaring storm for DOT and a flat 25 to accuracy and spellpower, then your at will abillity can used for something like storm stomp if you want to forgo buffing/healing your allies for more DPS. This probably isn't the best, but it's as effective as I can manage on my current charmer. Play around with the stat spread with your gear untill you hit a happy medium of sexiness and spellpower. Don't be afraid to incorporate other spells, white mage has some good storm damage but tend to be single target like celestial smite, but I chose cryostatic arc cause it can hit the whole field. Also I really like cryostatic arc.

If you have the chance to get Thunderclap (lvl 5 multi encounter) from Oma, do it. Trust me.
For my standard rotation,
First round, I pop Thunderclap right out the gate,
Second round, hit the tank - or the threat with high storm resistance - with Primal Scar (lvl 6 single recharge) to weakening storm resistance,
Third round? Sit back and watch the light-show. Usually 250+ damage per enemy, and ~375+ with a critical hit. Of course, depending on how much you lower resistance, you can get in the 900s, but sadly I have yet to reach 1000 ):
Anyways, anyone who ain't fried can get finished off right quick with your remaining Recharge spell (I too like Cryostatic Arc, but Sorran Chant buffs your team's storm damage which helps for standard attacks) and with your Charm ability.
No real preference for Ultimate, but I usually go for Abjure in case I need to hold off a heavy damage dealer til round 3.

For equipment, I really like to lean into Karithea's Pyromancer's Set's 4-item bonus, where Spellpower is equalled to Sexiness, if it's higher. Perfect synergy with Charmer: now that we no longer have to worry about balancing Spellpower, strictly focus on maxing out Sexiness instead. If you're Charmer, I'm assuming you've been maxing out Presence already, but if you haven't, then you should respec and rectify that. The Stylish! perk is your best friend: While not wearing Heavy armor, your Sexiness is increased by 4 times your level. You play things right, you usually get both Spellpower and Sexiness to a minimum of 130.
A secondary thing you'll wanna bump up is your Crit Effectiveness & Crit Chance values with companion boons, max. Cunning drink buffs, and accessories such as the Hornet Ring. This will give your Thunderclap an even more devastating level of damage to at least one of the unlucky foes that's hit. Shoot for a minimum of 30 Crit Chance and 200 Crit Effectiveness.
If you have the Dawnsword, that'll be a good primary. May not be a catalyst, but the Deflection at-will stance will save your ass from DPS while you wait for the thunder to strike. Plus melee helps counter silencing, especially with Wing Of Asira as offhand for immunity to the Disarmed effect.
This is usually my go-to for Dark Mode, with a support companion and a tank companion.

I tend to go teleport and semi-invincibility with Oma every time so I forgot about thunderclap. The pyromancer set is another thing I forgot was in the game. I never realized it's the Secutor set for sexy mages. Sorran chant was one of those things that looked good on paper, but I never tested it in practice since on my current charmer anything that doesn't die from a power cadence/blessed/storm buffed cleave, dies from a tease bomb, so I never realy bothered to try the new stuff lol. Also dark mode is another thing I didn't consider, I haven't done a charmer on dark mode, I just end up doing a black mage on dark mode since that's what I'm comfy tearing through the game with. Good stuff with this build, I want to try it out now. Your build is a lot more dps focused and the gear set has more thought into it. I didn't know whether dps or support is what op would prefer, so I tried to cover my bases. Rings were a thing where I was stumped, since I tend to just wear wedding rings and/or the Guildring. Also dawnsword with dawnbreak from the crown of winter I think can work as well, I've been working up to see how it works for a support focus charmer but I haven't tested it yet.

Yeah, I always go with teleport; it's just too good (^: Initially, I was torn between semi-invincibility and thunderclap, but I realized that my personal playing habit is glass cannon DPS, which suits the thunderclap ability just fine. I compensate for the lack of semi-invincibility by carrying a full stack of trail rations to make my party regen full HP post-combat, and it's only a small annoyance to restock in towns and to remember to eat one each day.

lol.

Aww, thanks! But what I like about your build is the flexibility. Mine is very much a set rotation, which is practical for dark mode, but not necessarily the most creative. If you want to wear different Unique Head, Armor, Waist, or Hands equipment, well, you're SOL. Yours gives the player a lot more wiggle room. And 150 Spellpower is fantastic. I was not aware of how effective Power Cadence could be! Not positive, but surely it's possible that it could translate over to dark mode quite well with a bit more micromanaging, yes? Honestly, my DPS build is quite reminiscent of a black mage. Yours is a true Charmer build, which is good if you want to RP in-character. Before Sorran Chant, I pretty much entirely relied on Black Mage spells! I can make it a tease build, but it takes a long time readjusting everything.

Oh, and as a heads-up: Unless you're aiming for a new buxom record, you'll want to have a full stack of alchemized blue eggs when you use the Hornet Ring. So many crits...
