Starting Over [Archangel] [Discontinued]

[Archangel99]

"Alright... Try it on me." He says, bracing his stomach for the hit.

 

[Floozer]

She nods and throws a side punch, impacting his stomach with a thud... yet it doesn't hurt nearly as bad as he thought it would!

(gotta get moving.)

 

[Archangel99]

[Alright.]

He grunts as he takes the punch, and straightens up after. "Hey! That wasn't bad!" He says, chuckling.

 

[Floozer]

"Exactly! you just gotta tone those abs and learn to take the brunt of it when it can be expected!"

Maul chooses this moment to come thudding over "Hey guys! We doing some boxing!? Can I join?!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Uhhhhhhh.... Maul... No offense, but I don't think that's a good idea. One punch of yours would shatter my bones." He says, grinning sheepishly.

 

[Floozer]

Maul sags with a sad frown and shuffles off to likely gather more wood. Poor guy must feel like a fish out of water.

 

[Archangel99]

He winces at that. "Man... I feel sorry for the guy. He's got nobody to hang out with." Kai murmurs, sighing.

 

[Floozer]

"Well... no one else is that freaking big... let alone as sturdy as he is. It must be like living in a world made of thin glass."

 

[Archangel99]

"Yeah... Probably. Any solutions for that?" He asks, looking at the girls.

 

[Floozer]

"We did encounter the giants who seemed to at least stand up to him for a short time. Perhaps they would be a good people to recruit."

 

[Archangel99]

"Well... Maybe. But... Do we know they're not violent?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.

 

[Floozer]

"We passed that one that likes riddles didn't we?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Yeah, but... What if we had failed to answer?" He asks, looking at Hina.

 

[Floozer]

"Then you would have lost me for a time until you could come back for me, simple as that. Everything you do will carry risk Kai, best just accept that."

 

[Archangel99]

"Uh, yeah, probably with a gaping pussy and ass..." He mutters, before shaking his head. "Nevertheless... I'll try and make decisions that will affect only me, and not the rest of the settlement. But... That's not exactly possible, since the only decisions I have to make... Are for the settlement." He sighs, closing his eyes and tilting his head up. "We are so screw right now..." He murmurs, before opening his eyes and looking at the clouds. "We have no food. No water. No supplies. Just... Wood."

 

[Floozer]

"You do have people... loyal people. Send them out Kai, there are old cities they could loot and more forest to explore. Nothing worth doing is ever easy right?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Maybe so. But I'm risking them, aren't I?" He murmurs, looking at the people in his new tribe.

 

[Floozer]

"There is always risk Kai. You can't do everything on your own, there is simply too much that needs to get done. Ok, you managed to feed them a bit, but in a few hours they will just be hungry again. It's time to start sharing the load."

 

[Archangel99]

He nods and sighs, before walking over to the group. "Everyone? Gather round, please." He says, spreading his arms and motioning inwards.

 

[Floozer]

The assembled mutants and humans walk over in a half circle, wondering what he has to say... with Maul sticking out in the back.

 

[Archangel99]

"Alright... You all know that as of right now, we have no food and water. I need you guys to go out, as far as you can, and search for it. Tools of any sort, I'd you can find them, would be extremely helpful. Weapons too." He says.

 

[Floozer]

They all look at each other and nod in agreement, likely having already thought about doing this before.

Hina steps up next to Kai. "I would say break off into groups of four. There are Twelve of you... so that is three groups to move out. Maul, however, I would like you to stay here for me."

 

[Archangel99]

He glances at her, but doesn't interfere, letting her do her thing.

 

[Floozer]

Despite her suggestion, they all look over to Kai for his word on the subject, loyal to him and not Hina.

 

[Archangel99]

He nods. "That seems safer than travelling alone. Split up into groups and go." He says.

 

[Floozer]

They quickly shuffle up and form groups of four. With that they say their goodbyes and leave. Now it is just Kai, Hina, Chasey, Maul and Roro still at the settlement.

"So uh... why am I staying here lady?"

"Cause I feel it is time to start building, don't you agree Kai?"

 

[Archangel99]

"Mmhm." He murmurs, grinning. "Time to pound those logs into the ground, Maul." He says.

 

[Floozer]

"Oh... yea I can do that! Sure!"

Hina leads Maul over to the log pile and the two of them start setting up a log wall, the ground shaking every time the big man drives a log deep into the earth.

"So... they will be busy for a while. What should I do?" Asks Chasey.

 

[Archangel99]

"Continue teaching me how to fight?" He asks, grinning and holding his fists up.

 

[Floozer]

"Yea, we can do that."

"What about me Harbinger?"
