"Gonna... oh gods!" She gags, before throwing her head over the side of the boat and lets out her breakfast into the sea.

Castella winces at the scene and gently rubs her back while she looses her breakfast. "Oh...."

After a while, she just slumps down on a bunk, beset by lethargy and looking as green as before. "Sailing does not... agree with me..."

Elliana was not in for a good time it would seem. And things only got worse for her the next day when it started to rain, for while it gave them a chance to restock their water supply, it made the water terribly choppy.

"Thank the gods we can - urp - just fast travel back and forth, after this..." She mumbles, seasick as can be.

Castella sat by Elliana's side, slowly rubbing her upset stomach in smooth circles "Yes, I think we should avoid ships lest you suffer through this a second time."

On the third day of travel, the rain stopped, and the sea calmed a bit. Elliana, however, still didn't stray too far from the rail. As she leaned on it, waiting for the next bout of seasickness to come up, a sudden flicker of movement caught her eye from under the water. As she tried to get a closer look, her head was nearly taken off as something burst from the water at lightning speed. Elliana fell back onto the deck, and when she looked up she was greeted by the sight of a long, thin, scale-covered body looming out of the water. It was at least thirty feet long, though only about as wide as her thigh, and capped by a small, round, fish-like head that was filled with teeth too long for its mouth. The thing looked at her with large unblinking eyes, and lunged again.

[A sea serpent has appeared, what does everyone do?]

Elliana rolls towards the very edge of the boat, behind the railing to escape it's attack. Oh gods, is she not in a state to fight, right now... she'd be more use puking on the monster... no, that's a silly idea.

Isaac locks the helm in place before running down and readying his bow. "Quick, light something on fire, they're afraid of bright light!" he cries, before lining up a shot, only for his arrow to go wide.

"Light something on fire?! Wait.. bright lights? I can do that!" She casts light in her hands and makes it as bright as possible, waving it around trying ot scare away the monster.

Castella's palms lit up like spot lights, and the sensitive, lidless, eyes of the sea serpent quickly took them in. With a loud hiss, the creature withdrew back into the water, leaving the adventurers unmolested.

She blinks several times, baffled that it worked "Are... are you serious? That actually drove it off?!"

"Don't be too thrilled," warned Isaac. "Sea serpents are easily startled, but they soon return, in greater numbers." After seeing to it that Elliana was alright, Isaac quickly returned to his spot at the helm and did his best to get them as far away as he could.

Castella moves over to Elliana and rests a hand on her shoulder "Are you alright?"

"I'm okay... I'm okay... just can't take this much longer." She groans, still green in the face. "Good thing it went away... I can't really help with fighting it off."

Mia looks down at the water, watching for any sudden movements. "So umm.... when you say in greater numbers, how many does that mean exactly?"

"Well... hopefully we can get far enough away that they will just leave us alone." She says, rubbing Elliana's back gently "Poor dear... this is really not your thing is it?"

"No... never even saw the ocean before... Oh gods, I never thought it'd be this bad." She groans, feeling light-headed. "I think I need some water... isn't there some like... if you're vomiting alot, you need salt, too?"

"I don't really know dear, but water we can do" She says, taking out her water skin and offering it to her friend.

"Thank you." She smiles weakly, before grabbing it and taking a big gulp of fresh water. "Ahh... that's a little better... I just hope I won't instantly... throw it back up..."

She nods and gets up, before walking in and lying down on a vacant bunk, trying to take her mind off the rocking of the boat.

"Sea serpents tend to travel in family groups, like killer whales," said Isaac. "Still, if we put enough distance between us and them, they should give up the chase."

Whatever maneuvers Isaac used they seemed to work, as the group didn't see another serpent for the rest of their travels. Indeed, they saw very little on the rest of the journey until, finally, on the sixth day, Elliana was leaning over the side of the boat when she saw the barest hint of trees on the horizon.

"Hey, look! Trees ahoy!" She shouts, feeling a little glimmer hope inside her, amidst the queasiness of being out at sea.

Castella waddles to the edge and looks over "Oh thank goodness... land! Dry and firm land!"

"Phew, looks like we're nearly there." Mia yawns sleepily and stands up, looking to the land just on the horizon. She doesn't seem affected by the rocking of the boat although she doesn't seem to have had much sleep over the journey.

"Yeah, it'll be great to hit dry land, once more." She smiles, giving into the urge to reach a hand over and scratch at Mia's ears. "You still like how that whole thing turned out?"
