Not sure if it's a problem exclusive to me, but it appears that the latest backer-build breaks the talk function with Penny. I did the new quest with the stalker, and after getting her apprehended, and recruiting Penny, I completely lost the ability to talk to her while she's on board my ship
This obviously also means that the option to buy Throbb from isn't a possibility anymore.
Went back and loaded a save where I hadn't done that quest, and Penny was already on my crew, and no dice. Seems like the update just straight up broke her ability to talk once she's on the crew entirely, regardless of if you've done the quest or not.
