Data menu requests/ideas:
- Instead of the usual cursor, have the list use the "this is a button" cursor like the buttons below. With a small style change to the list making them look like clickables, you can get rid of the bottom menu options and only have the next/previous page buttons there.
- Instead of using the right side buttons to select the data mode (save/load/delete) with a separate button below to do the action, just use those right-side buttons directly. If an empty slot is highlighted, you're given a confirmation window ("Data saved" for Save or "No save data found" for Load/Delete) with an OK/NEXT button when you hit one of the three options. If you select a used slot, you get a yes/no option ("Do you want to overwrite this save?" "Do you want to load this save and lose your current progress?" "Are you sure you want to delete this save?" YES / NO)
- Already mentioned, but a confirmation window would be huge. I couldn't tell if the game was saving during the prologue because it wasn't updating any of the shown data (separate issue: make the prologue take time during day zero instead of staying at midnight)
- I haven't messed with the autosaves, so I don't know how you have them working, but I'd like the autosaves list button to be next to the next/previous page buttons. Keep the on/off option where it is, and lower the contrast of the button's icon when it's turned off. Having all similar options (next/prev page select or the autosave page select) together is probably best.
- Saving during the beginning of major scenes? IE: the ability to save after I've defeated the cult leader and before Kasyrra arrives. Saves the time of having to reload immediately prior to the fight and deal with the leader over and over (which may or may not go the same way) when I want to explore all the Kasyrra dialogue options. Being able to save before conversation options or before the fight victory options is meh. I can understand not having that, as it could turn into save scumming which you may or may not want.

In the same vein, please enable the Journal button next to the data button and get rid of the bottom menu one. The less duplicate buttons, the better.

Have a bust viewer in the journal. If you've viewed a specific character's bust, you can pull up a full version of that photo (if it's normally used as a cropped version) to 'appreciate' at any time. And if there's any alternate busts, those get added when you see the default version (or whichever variant you select). Kinda mentioned, but have a requirement that you need to unlock the bust through normal play before being able to view it. Eg. you can view Cait's clothed bust once you meet her, and you can see her naked bust once you've sexed her up. Same for when her breasts are enlarged. Once you make them bigger, you can see that bust, or any of her smaller sizes you've previously unlocked.

Reading the forums I realized that there's supposed to be a snowstorm or something during the prologue. Having some indicator of weather (a stylized border on the map for overly hot/cold/creepy/lusty, or an overlay for snow/rain/fog) would make that bit of info more obvious outside the one or two text mentions.

Gender items countering is also irrelevant since you can set your pronouns just like in TiTS.
If I remember right, the thing CoC could do with gender items not countering each other was about TFs, not pronouns. You could make it so succubus milk wouldn't shrink/remove your dick(s) and incubus draft wouldn't shrink your boobs or make you lose your vag. It's been a long damn time since I played, but I think that's what Dragonice is talking about. An option like that in CoC2 would be good, to cut down on save-scumming with TFs.

Alchemy system will allow you to refine TFs and only get the parts you want.

Regarding text size, I would really appreciate a high upper limit, for easy reading on mobile devices. CoC 1 had a ludicrously high maximum text size which was great, but in TiTS the max size is still a little small when viewed on a mobile device.

I can set the limit to whatever, it will just clip with other assets at a certain point.

Would it be possible to have different coloured text for dialogues and important information like in this post? I know this is a text game, but the colours could be good for visibility/attention issues.

Admittedly I would recommend holding off on creating a hard mode until you get more content in the game. Its hard to pin down a reasonable hard mode when you don't have enough content to really put it through the good 'ole testing. I know one of the reasons I really liked the mods to the original CoC was because they added more challenge to the game. Admittedly they tended to add a lot of other things too but that's besides the point.

I could imagine a house of horrors thing. A bunch of unique uber strong monsters holded up in a mysterious house. As you progress deeper through an oddly larger place than expected from the outside, different out of the ordinary monsters appear. It would seem lidgit to have something waky pop up at a certain level to challenge higher level characters.

Didn't we have a thread that talked about how in tits the enemies have custom states, so there can't be a modifier? I don't know how the coc 2 system verys from tits. If that's the case I would wonder how a hard mode would exist. Maybe hindering perks?

I'd just make it so your party takes less damage and deals more.

Could we maybe get a "neutral" they/them pronoun option? I realize that'd also require replacing things like "guy/girl" with "person" (or "[race]") but it'd be nice for some characters.

Perhaps for a bit of fun, a "genderfluid" option that will randomize which of the three pronoun/title sets is used each encounter? I'm amused by the idea of changing presentation often and NPCs guessing. I know anyone playing a fluid char could just manually switch a lot but that's less fun, and it happening naturally would feel more immersive and give some illusion of character autonomy. :3

Not saying I'd particularly use it but would a content filter option be feasible. I.e. players who weren't too keen on Male/Male content could select an option so it wouldn't appear?

Has a Colorblind mode been suggested yet? Me not being colorblind, I personally don't have much stock in the idea, but I can imagine it could make some difference to some people, given that the game is text based.

You don't really need colors for anything in the game. It's really more for looks not function.

Hello, I'm Upcast Drake, the guy who writes all the code.

What NON-GAMEPLAY-RELATED options would you guys like to have? Right now the idea is to have text-size (either for everything or just the main reading text), brightness, contrast, the ability to use the default browser text, silly mode, buttslut mode, enable/disable busts, set a preferred artist, and easy mode.

If you propose content-related options I'll ban you.

I've always enjoyed the ability to go into easy mode, so something like that where players can choose their own difficulty, and just minor quality of life stuff like the option in CoC where items wouldn't be used up, options that saves time and lets you get to the point, even simple layout changes or the options to up the challenge as well, it doesn't need to be too big, but it's just there for whoever wants it.

Since it came up in Wsan's thread: Could we have a toggle in the options menu to automatically agree to allowing an NPC to turn the tables on the PC?

Let me give an example.

Dommy NPC X has the PC where he/she wants him/her. The situation allows for him/her, as Wsan put it, to "just sweep you off your feet and have her way with you". As discussed in the thread, in order to make content like that agreeable to all players, people need a choice here. A chance to tap out beforehand if they're not interested in content that has them losing control of the situation.

But that goes vastly against the general feel of the content.

Obviously, checks like that are needed, but maybe we could have a toggle in the options menu, that just automatically agrees in place of the player to continue "rough" content like that?

Obviously it is far, far too late to consider something like this for Tits, but maybe it could be an option for CoC2?

Hmm, it seems I misunderstood then. I thought the part about gameplay referred to combat/equipment etc and that the suggestion for the toggle would fall in line with things like the buttslut option.

It would fall in line with the buttslut option, and the buttslut option is gameplay-related.

I know options for text colors and sizes were talked about earlier in the the thread but would different color backgrounds be an option? I get the whole parchment style color scheme but having a choice for a darker background color would be great.

Also, more buttstuff.

Edit: Re-read OP, to clarify I mean different background colors for the text box in the middle more so than the side bars.
