i think you have to not have chosen him as a suspect to Calise at the end of A Feast for Heroes

I have no idea what he's actually complaining about, but here's what I wrote in reply:

By “True Ending” I just mean, the ending you get at the end of the game vs. any of the Bad Ends along the way. Y’know, the credits rolling at the end after you beat the Final Boss.

There’s not going to be one specific “canon” set of choices if that’s what you’re worrying about.

Found it myself, when you defeat bosses. You have the dialogue option to capture both, do it. Then when you can greets the troops, tell to Kas and don't play her game anymore, so you can access to the bosses recruit.

Possibly would have to defeat Kasyrra at the end of the new khorminos dungeon so she doesn't appear before the king to fuck you over, and have had accused Vrannus beforehand (you lose acess to the Assassin's Bow though as the Faceless Blade does not appear at testing of the Ring of Fate) yet dunno if those are the full or even the requirments.

Probably also saving the real calise so she goes with you to the king or revealing the truth to everyone at the battle after Kas defeat, dunno.

Can anyone give me a spoiler heavy summary of what happens on varena's version of the quest (including any aftermath stuff), As the character i've been using mostly will be doing calise's route and it'll take me a while to get to the siege on my new character

disappointment if you want to call vrannus out, but basically you would skip the fight and go straight into the dungeon, then youd have a choice to either - A. kill both bosses, B. kill one and capture other, C. capture both, if in any of those, you keep the real Calise alive, you can use her as a replacement and say she was a real hero all slong and that kassyra impersonated her, and yes you WILL call kassyra out in front of everyone

What would be the possible benefits of choosing each path? other than keeping [REDACTED] alive and on the fort and exposing Vrannus should we go with Varena. Like, what are the benefits of going with Calise other than playing TEG but with real people?

Honestly a big fan of Renia's design and vibe, I really hope there can be more content with her. Kinda reminds me of a corrupted Kalysea, which I love.

You can snag the Instant Fortress power and some meh heavy armor from an optional boss on Varena's route. Aside from that, it's more a question of who you want to do the dungeon with.

Calise generates a shitload of aggro simply by existing, so she's going to be the tank no matter what you do. Varena meanwhile is a pretty solid storm damage caster. Additionally, you fight Blood Knight alone and then go straight to Chaos Blade in Kass's route, whereas in Varena's route you have to fight Blood Knight and Faceless Blade, then Chaos Blade.

You also have the option of attempting to betray and kill Kass on her route, but that's a dead end for now because Savin said winning that fight will take you straight to the game's ending once it's implemented, which won't be for a while I imagine.

Probably snitching about his backroom actitivities during the feast to the kings is something you should also do, as suspecting him to Kasyrra.

It's a dialogue option when Hadred Grune confronts you at the start of Varena's route. "Traitors in Khor'minos" I think.
