i think you have to not have chosen him as a suspect to Calise at the end of A Feast for Heroes

I have no idea what he's actually complaining about, but here's what I wrote in reply:

By “True Ending” I just mean, the ending you get at the end of the game vs. any of the Bad Ends along the way. Y’know, the credits rolling at the end after you beat the Final Boss.

There’s not going to be one specific “canon” set of choices if that’s what you’re worrying about.

So after knocking up Hotaru, selecting "Family" has the PC talk as if they've met her folks. Is it a bug? Or did I somehow miss it? I can't find the trigger to chat with her folks yet.

Found it myself, when you defeat bosses. You have the dialogue option to capture both, do it. Then when you can greets the troops, tell to Kas and don't play her game anymore, so you can access to the bosses recruit.

well, i've tried out a few different variations of flags with no luck, if anyone else has any idea i'd appreciate it

Possibly would have to defeat Kasyrra at the end of the new khorminos dungeon so she doesn't appear before the king to fuck you over, and have had accused Vrannus beforehand (you lose acess to the Assassin's Bow though as the Faceless Blade does not appear at testing of the Ring of Fate) yet dunno if those are the full or even the requirments.

Probably also saving the real calise so she goes with you to the king or revealing the truth to everyone at the battle after Kas defeat, dunno.
