Hi, Everyone. The following is my belief as to why Lumia, Keros, and Nareva would choose the Champion to be their Chosen Champion. Keep in mind that this is just opinion and personal belief. Feel free to share your opinions as to their reasons.
1. Lumia: She knows how great the Demon Threat and Kasyrra is. She also knows the consequences of letting them run around freely for too long. Lumia needs a Champion who is Stronger and More Capable than her Valkyries to take the fight directly to Kasyrra. She knows that the Champion's Fate is intertwined with Kasyrra, so when the Champion arrives at her doorstep, she sees it as the perfect opportunity to offer the Champion the choice of becoming the Champion she needs.
2. Keros: Keros is a Trickster and loves pranking people. Not in the sense of being mean or cruel, but in the sense that he wants to have harmless fun where all parties can benefit. When the Champion pings his radar when they help the Kitsune Den, He grows an interest in the Champion and their fight against Kasyrra. He offers the Champion a choice of being Soulbound to him so that he won't have to fear losing a potential new favorite plaything to Demonic Corruption. In this Sense. Keros doesn't necessarily want to be mean to the Champion but instead wants to mess around/play with them.
3. Nareva: I'm just gonna be plain and simple with her. Should things go in the direction many thinks its going with "You give Nareva Thalia's remains and she makes you an Astrida" then the thought process is this: Thalia was a very important person in the early history of the Astrida, so if you give her remains to Nareva then the Naga Goddess can only give you the one thing she believes to be of equal value to the remains. She takes you as her Champion and gives you the gift of being one of her Astrida.
