How does the coc2 discord differ from the forums?

Is there a reason to be on both?

Well the discord is probably over 1000% more active than the forums, and multiple devs hang out there on a daily basis.

The forums are basically legacy abandonware we just keep around for bug reports. The actual community is on Discord.
