==FORUMS/EXPERIENCE ATTEMPTING TO REPORT BUGS/FEEDBACK - GET YOUR ASBESTOS SUIT READY==
* <frustratedrant>YOU ASKED FOR FEEDBACK, AND YET I DON'T HAVE PERMISSION TO POST IN THE LEWD FORUMS? THERE IS A BIG ERROR TELLING ME I DON'T HAVE PERMISSION, AND IT IS UNCLEAR WHERE TO POST ALPHA RC2 BUGS/FEEDBACK. PLEASE MAKE IT CLEAR AND EASY TO GIVE FEEDBACK OR YOU WILL NOT GET MUCH FEEDBACK. SO NOW THE THING ISN'T TELLING ME I CAN'T POST, BUT SINCE I WROTE YOU A NOVEL IT SAYS "Body is x characters too long." PLEASE FIX THAT. NOW I JUST WANT TO KEEP THIS GOING TO SEE HOW BAD IT GETS. I'M RESORTING TO A FORUM MESSAGE. SUBMIT...GRRR. I'M GETTING A CLOUDFLARE "One more step. Please complete the security check to access playlewd.com" CAPTCHA! I WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED. I'M DROPPING THIS IN FENOXO FORUMS BECAUSE THERE SEEMS TO BE NO OTHER REASONABLE WAY TO SUPPLY FEEDBACK.</frustratedrant>
==INTRO & CHARACTER CREATION==
*The intro scrolling text sequence is very slow. An option to speed it up, or fade in the next bit with a click or other input would be appreciated. I know there is a skip option, but I wanted to read it the first time.
*The first character name should not default to the account name. This is good for security reasons, and RP/immersion reasons. It kind of wasted a slot for me, because my account name is ridiculous, and I'd never name a character that.
*The Traits area seams rather bare.
*The appearance noun and adjective input is awkward. I would have expected better default's for a porn game. See TiTS.
==GAME==
* Chose to play online.
* Tutorial tips are nice. Consider setting them off in another color, or at least the header. Since they move around, a consistent color other than white might help people notice that they have a thing they should read.
* I thought I clicked on chat, and instead moved on the map. That was a bit jarring for my first real interaction with the main UI. Maybe I clicked just below it, if so thjat space at the bottom seems like it would cause little mishaps like this.
* The art for the character cards is rather nice.
* I like the little pop-ups over users when they chat.
* Typo in Macsen dialogue. “I'll remove that you at least showed some interest now, at least. I'll see you around.” I'm guessing "remove" should be "remember".
* I found the doll/android, gave her a name, then chose the option "You picked an insulting name, but are kidding.". After that I could not input anything in the text field to give her a new name. When I typed, no input. Clicking on the field confirmed my input before I could type a new name.
* Encounters seem burdensomely frequent. Once I've exhausted the options for a given creature since I'm not getting XP, items, status changes, or any other kind of award from continuing to encounter them, they just kind of keep me from smoothly travelling from point A to point B.
* If you insist on their frequency, which seems to be just about every tile, please default space to the shortest path to get through the dialogue with the least amount of consequences. "Run" would be appropriate, otherwise I might have to think about what my character would do, and actually select the right action. For practical reasons right now I jam space when I see the same character card, I have no idea what my character is doing, I get multiple dialogues I've already read, and no the character isn't into being dommed anally at the moment, or whatever the default option is.
* Am I to believe that the bird girl that I ran into is the same girl/NPC every time, or a different girl. If it is the same girl, why does she forget that we have already talked/scheduled a date. If it is a different girl, how are we having the exact same conversation that I had with every other bird girl?
* Sometimes an extra dialogue shows for the "Slanna"(SP?), amphibian herm thing. It happens right after I'm regaining my composure. Their are two options, and one of them appears to be an error showing through the interface. I'm not sure what they say, something about "PARSER". The scene quickly transitions to an over state, and I never get to select the message.
* The following passage for Kent Johnston was all messed up. Duplicated dialogue, and a bit of code poking out.
"There's a wry, practically cocky smirk to the taur's lips as those amber eyes take just a second to eye you up after your question. Not to mention just the slightest of flexes from the flanks of his lower, cervine main body. "Oh, I think I could help with that... After all, Kent Johnston has never backed down from a cavern to explore, whether it be There's a wry, practically cocky smirk to the taur's lips as those amber eyes take just a second to eye you up after your question. Not to mention just the slightest of flexes from the flanks of his lower, cervine main body. "Oh, I think I could help with that... After all, Kent Johnston has never backed down from a cavern to explore, whether it be (if !hasVagina){man or nature's!” he boasts with an almost completely straight face, ruined only by an eager, knowing grin upon his lips."
* Weird bug when navigating out of the matriarch's lair. I clicked on the exit tile, the player navigated to the exit square, and they they sort of bounced back to the starting square, and automatically navigated to the exit square again. I was unable to go up to leave the matriarchy, so I navigated away with the arrow keys. My character was then again dragged through the wall to the little walled off area of six squares to the right of the entrance. From this point forward my character was absolutely stuck. I couldn't figure out what to do, refreshed the page, and I was taken to character generation which reset my progress. This ended my play testing.
That's about all I have time for with game ending bugs, the current state of things with the Alpha 2 RC, and the difficulty in reporting feedback. Thanks for the key post in these forums. I was interested to say the least. It looks like you have a good start, but if I could make changes I'd address the issues with ease of reporting bugs/feedback, the game ending bug I encountered, and the gratuitous unrewarding sex encounters slowing my ability to explore. Those things really zapped the fun out of the experience. I'll check back on later updates assuming you don't ban me from your site. xD
